There was barely a touch. Nothing to impede him. Nothing to take him away from the ball.

A contact isnt a foul. That dive is simulation.

Wasn't a pen. Was a booking for simulation.
That's how it should be but I fully believe that if he had timed that dive better he would have got the pen because there was "contact" and if you sell it well enough you get it, the pause between the contact and dive was what got him booked really.

Palace are never going to hold out for another 60 mins playing like this. They need to get at Liverpool's faces more like they did in the beginning of the game, but I doubt that's going to happen. Still, I'll enjoy this while it lasts.

Liverpool haven't sorted out their defence at all. Simple balls over the top send them into a panic every time. The keeper inspires zero confidence as well.

Oh yeah and Mane's dive was shocking.
It’s not the whole defence. There’s no problems on Robertson and Van Dijk’s side. TAA’s inexperience is showing a fair bit.

Did TFM lose his place when we played Palace (as he couldn't feature) ? Such a shame.

Will be pretty harsh for Palace to lose this with another comeback after what we did to them. Hopefully they keep the result.

Yeah. You can always con the referee. It happens all the time.

Mane didn't do it well enough and got caught trying to cheat.

So, is this a new trend where the corner taker does not place the ball even close to the line? Or, is it just now that the TV crew are picking up on it? Have seen loads of corners this season.

Come on ref

So Milner's cynical foul on Benteke was no yellow

This would be 5 losses from the last 8 PL games for Liverpool against Palace since Crystanbul '14.

It'll go away once VAR comes into action. Goal will be disallowed. No idea why they do it, probably some superstition bollix.

Palace copying mourinho's game plan here. Let Liverpool have the ball and hit them with direct balls down the right-hand side of their defence. Hardly anything has gone down VVD's side so far.

No, that’s an area I hope we address in the summer. Ship Lovren out and bring another in maybe.
Yeah you have to mate. It's a massive weakness. Both united goals came from long balls down that channel as well.

The Sevilla centre half would be a good signing for you.

If van Dijk even breaths on Benteke I hope the latter goes down and rolls around 10 times in agony

There’s goals in this for us. Palace already look a bit tired.

CP goal was so similar to the 1st goal we conceded at old Trafford.
We are so predictable...Slow transition from back allowing CP to arrange their defence. No creativity or whatsoever.
