Sky: Spurs appeal to FA to award the second goal against Stoke City to Harry Kane | Spurs win appeal

Only difficult game for Spurs is with City and they seem broken now. Can see Kane scoring 2 hat-tricks and overtaking Salah. The latter has had a far better season though.
We’ve got some decent home games coming up. I still think Salah can make 35 league goals (he’s on 29 currently).

You'll probably rest him for the CL semi and he won't play in some games.

If Eliksen is still Okay to send ball toward Kane direction.

Be the inteperter, enlighten us please. oh El

Some of them are pretty Egyptian jokes tbh that probably only us will understand. One telling here this doesn't work with Salah and should try it with Magdi (the one who scored our only goal in WC 1990). Other saying it's a conspiracy to turn Salah to Sehata Abo Kaf (a famous fictional footballer from an Egyptian film who was corrupted).

The other comments outside this girl didn't even understand the reason of the tweet. Some saying Salah is the best ever. Some Algerians saying Mahrez is better and you get the war between who is better from both. The usual social media nonsense.

This is a proper dodgy decision, from no angle we saw did it ever look like he touched it.

Edit: apparently they made the decision based on the words of Kane and his teammates.

Embarassing. Really Embarrassing. There's no video evidence to prove he touched it. And even it there was a slight touch the benefit of the doubt goes to the original source which is Eriksen in this case. What a farce. What a disgraceful descion by the FA. Shame on them and Shame on Kane.

This is a complete disgrace that the Premier League even looked at this again. Would they do that for non-English players?

Kane and the PL should be absolutely ashamed.

There's no way on earth they could have watched that goal footage and beyond reasonable doubt awarded it to Kane, they've gone entirely on his pinky promise that he definitely touched it, honest.

They should all do it from now just to give the FA some work to do. Bunch of children.

How did they manage to come to a decision? You'd need some NASA forensic equipment to determine whether the ball deflected 0.00000001% of any part of Kane's body.

I never really had an opinion of Kane before this episode. But the daughter part makes me now think of him as an absolute idiot.

Of course he now has to go out and score against City on Saturday as I can't see Salah not scoring. If he doesn't it will just make him look desperate. Even Chris Smalling can score against City.

I'm disappointed for Eriksen too.

Kane's really gone down in my estimations for this. I didn't think he was about the ego but clearly he is. And also for swearing on his daughter's life, what a dickish thing to say especially for something so utterly trivial.

Usually when it comes to own goals, if the shot is already on target and beating the keeper its still credited to the attacker regardless of who got the last touch. So why would it be any different here? Even if Kane gets a slight touch, it clearly doesn't make any difference so it should be Eriksen's goal anyway.

Either way Kane is a tool, and its just another reason to dislike Spurs. Although the Pool players' reactions are somewhat amusing as well.

Surely that can’t be ... is that how they made the offside decision when he ‘scored’ against Liverpool as well?

The goal had originally been awarded on the day to Christian Ericcson, but after taking the player’s testimony into account and reviewing the match footage, a three-person panel agreed that the final touch on the ball belonged to Kane.

Not sure what's more pathetic. Harry Kane lying on his daughter life or the subsequent reaction of Liverpool players on twitters.

Guys come on, there’s more salt on here than on RAWK, I agree Kane was a bit of a tit but it’s hardly that big a deal.

Harry Kane coming off like a true loser.

Was thinking the same thing. This whole thing started of as something petty and childish bu has now the potential to blow up. Hope Klopp gets asked about it in the next presser.

Absolutely pathetic and small time. Would expect nothing more from a Spurs player, that is his level and he's happy being the big fish in the small pond there.

As much as I hate Liverpool, Salah is a more more humble and likeable player - genuinely hope he wins the golden boot.

Im hardly surprised, did anyone really expect the FA to go against the golden boy of football? However it will be interesting to note how many penalties spurs get from now until the end of the season.

There’s no salt. Hardly anyone on here could give two fecks about who actually scored the goal. We just think it’s incredibly egotistical of Kane to be desperately claiming any goal he can get. Also, swearing on your daughter’s life for something like this? Pathetic.

I agree with the daughter part, as for the rest I think it’s a storm in an egg cup. I’d see less of a shitstorm of Kane had scored an offside goal FFS. While he went about it in the totally wrong way I honestly believe Kane got a touch of some sort, why else would he go to the bother and make a tool out of himself.
