Was at their game today.
They were absolutely brilliant.
The way they moved the ball to wide areas and exposed Derby on the flanks was a joy to watch. Could have been 5

Have you been in the stadium? I have been trying to get highlights from their match, can't find nothing special.

How has Ruben Neves been playing?
I think more than Neves all their team started well and reading some reports they are playing good football until now.

Also they are playing 3-4-3, first time Nuno uses this system in his carrer, but overall they look adapted to the system and the league, but they have a long way to go.

The game was in Derby. I don't live far away and a friend of mine had tickets.

Thanks, their fans were excited with the performance, difficult to get good highlights to watch.

No, he would help a lot, but he would struggle in a very physical league.
Messi played street football against grown men in Argentina when he was a teenaged midget.

The physicality in the lower leagues in England are nothing compared to what you see in South America.

Yeah it's a silly idea that people have that players with the talent of Messi could be nullified simply because a league is more physical than they are used to. As if no team in Europe or La Liga has ever tried to just foul Messi out of the game before anyway.

Also, just seen Santi_Mesut_Alexis_87 is banned, anyone know why? He posted an awful lot but never saw anything even slightly controversial from him.

He usually gets quite emotional when we're losing and posts without thinking. He's made a few silly posts.

Joint top after 9 games played. Jota is far too good for the Championship.

Yeah whenever people wonder how a South American flair player would handle the physicality of the PL I wonder if they realize how physical Football is in South America.

My old man is a Wolves supporter, he considers it strange how someone who has knowledge of the Championship was cast aside for someone who doesn't know anything about English football. However, I hope it goes well for them, due to my old man I've a soft spot for them.
My dad is now delighted with how things are going. I have watched them a fair bit this season and I’ve enjoyed watching them, some great stuff at times and it would be a welcome addition to the Premier League.

Will be good to see my hometown club back in the PL. Would take a major disaster at this stage for them not to go straight up.

They seem to be a very good unit and have to be favourites to go up. Alot of the players in that team are much better than Championship standard.

They could be even better if they had Lambert. I'd pass on Messi though. Karl Henry would be too much for him.

Yep. Cavaleiro, Jota, Neves or Costa. Even Bonatini, he was attracting interest from at least two of the portuguese big clubs and some midtable teams from Spain. I was a fan of him in Portugal, smart and technical player. I thought he would struggle in a more physical league like the Championship but he's doing good. The numbers Wolves forwards have are very impressive.

Yeah but they'll be fine this time round. They just seem to be getting stronger and were unlucky against City in the Cup earlier in the season.
A City fan I know reckons that they’re the best team that they’ve played so far this season, which is certainly high praise. However the more I watch of them and the dullards in the Premier League, I can see his point.

How is Neves doing there?
According to their forum, which i read from time to time, very well. A joy to watch. Very tidy player, excellent positional sense and passing. Guess you will have the chance to see him next year in the PL.

The relatively small investment from Mendes will turn into an absolute windfall if it ends up in promotion and the ability to pump more of his product into Wolves at Premier League prices.

From what I understand, Mendes hasn't invested anything in the team. He's just pumped his products into their team.

It should be worth pointing out that if they get promoted to PL, then they'll probably have the second richest owners in the PL after City. Fosun is freaking huge as a group. They've also gone about this very cleverly.

Still can't believe he isn't at some Premier League clubs. Guess we are gonna see him there next season though.

Indeed. I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes a thing at Championship level for these rich conglomerates and another revenue stream for savvy agents with a huge catalogue of players to offer initially and post-promotion.

As a mid and long term plan, it's genius and it's going to make Mendes a lot of money once he can put the bigger names on his books there at competitive rate PL prices. It also gets Fosun a PL club at a quarter of the price they would have to pay for a club already in the PL.

The Pozzo started this trend I think when they bought Watford. I imagine they can easily get two or three times of their initial investment, after just five years if they're looking to sell the club.

Their best players are still very young and I'd imagine they'll all stay at Wolves due to the Fosun/Mendes factor. Exciting times for their fans.

Anyone but Rashford
Not surprising.

Shows the fickleness of football fans. Wolves fan who's a mate went from bemoaning modern football to loving it now they're looking good again. Just turn a blind eye to the fact his club is now one big money laundering operation.

Interesting to see what will happen next season with them.
