Fred and Dalot seem done (even at the cost of being optimistic). Am just worried we’re not seeing more (or anything!) on the RW signing we need. The Bale links don’t count in my opinion...

The price of any player or any commodity for that matter depends on two things : the seller and his willingness to sell and the buyer and his willingness to buy.
You cant compare Darmian to Juve and Lindelof to United.

Darmian is an average player who is out of favour at the richest club in the world and is being sold to Juve who are known penny pinchers, to a league which is not as wealthy as the PL or La Liga.
If he was being sold to another PL team, we would have gotten more.

Lindelof was a very talented 22 year old ball playing CB who played for the Champions of Portugal and he was being sold to the richest club in the world, to the richest league in the world. Of course the price was going to be higher.

Its like bargaining with a guy who sells stuff on the streets.
You get out of an Audi wearing super expensive clothes and holding an IPhone X in your hand, of course he's gonna double the price. Whereas if you look worse than the guy who is selling, he'll be like whatever man, just give me what you have.
"Lindelof was a very talented 22 year old ball playing CB"....not just his age has changed in the last 12 months then

England:
If Juventus read this thread you could see why they only want to pay €12m for Darmian
"we need to rid of our deadwood players" maybe show the players some respect
and we might get what we really want for them
I can just see the Juventus CEO getting on the phone to his negotiating team and screaming down the line “Half the offer for Darmian! I’ve just been on Redcafe and Bob Smith from Basildon and some guy called the Ring Master have said that he’s shit!”

Cyprus Hill.
Nah, City clearly has an agreement with him and this is just Napoli using our name to get the best price for him.

United have become something similar to a monster that mommies scare their children with.
Like Mommies say 'Naughty boys get punished by the monster so you better go to bed before the monster comes' is now being used by the selling Clubs as 'If you try to low ball us, the big, rich Monster of Manchester will punish you. So you better up your bid now or the Manchester Monster will soon enter the race/show interest™ !'
Rich Monster of Manchester? That'd be the blue one

That would be considerably less than the 52m pounds being quoted elsewhere. Maybe this journo has his currencies mixed up.
The 52 million pounds valuation is most probably based on Fred's release clause, don't think English journalists have a clue about the transfer fee.
Di Marzio broke news of agreement saying we are paying 50 mill Euros and I think he and the Brazilian journos have more idea about what happening

52m Euros is much more reasonable in that case.
