Yeah Dallas do great in this trade. They were tipped to go Bamba all the way but Doncic is superior talent and you can pick up half decent big men anywhere these days.

Really didn't want to see Doncic wasted on a trash like the Kings or Memphis (sorry). Glad he gets a good coach and a semi-competent organization.

They can toss some loot at Howard after his inevitable buyout and get a couple years out of him.

I thought they were going for Michael Porter here. He’s falling.

As the local sports guys will say again tomorrow, they Hawked it up.

They've sold out for Young because they believe he's the next Steph Curry.
Travis Schlenk the GM of the Hawks was at the Warriors when Steph was drafted. He's hoping for lightning to strike twice I guess. Not convinced myself.

Mitchell apparently told Jackson Jr that he’s the new member of Utah Jazz. God please let this be true. I think it’s just DM messing.

Him and his agent did a good job of keeping him in the conversation but there are just too many red flags, realistically.

Some club may end up getting a potential star in Porter, or clubs will one day be thankful they avoided the allure.

Perhaps going to a club that doesn't need his input immediately and risk slowly bringing him along is best fit for him. How about the Spurs or Suns getting him?

Woj is still spoiling the draft, come on, why does he feel the urge to prove how amazing he is by continuously leaking this 3 minutes before the pick is made. It’s not possible to avoid him either because they all quote him and NBA TV shows him too.

I think NY or Phila take Porter.
He might fall to the Clippers, I wouldn't be shocked.

Not sure if the Sixers would want to take any risks after last year.

I forgot about Charlotte though. No idea what they'll do.

Sounds like he's an attention whore who craves being the first to break the news.

Is he another Buddy Hield? Not sure how high his ceiling is but Hield had some people ga-ga over him after his OU career yet I never really saw it, granted I didn't follow his career and only came to know of him after the god crowd and media started thrusting him onto us. I seem to recall Hield was shut down hard in the tourney after that great senior year which made me ponder what would NBA defense do against him. Has Hield turned out as expected, better/worse than anticipated, or the jury still out?

Yeah, I had to turn off the Ringer YouTube feed too because they were picking up stories from all over Twitter and were two minutes ahead of the actual draft.

I don’t get why they show Woj on NBA TV naming the picks. They even ask him about it before each one, he pretends he’s just guessing but you can tell he knows already.

If Porter falls out of the lottery it'd be equally hilarious and sad.

I think that will be a better comparison myself. Young just looks so slight. He's listed at 6'1'' and 180 lbs and Steph is listed at 6'3'' and 190 but he sure looks a whole lot more than 2 inches and 10 pounds bigger to me.

That pick was kind of pointless for the Clippers. Porter's back must be really fecked.

Hoping for Khyri Thomas if he falls to 28 and the Dubs are interested of course.

So Bridges isn’t going to Philadelphia after all. I think it’s a good deal for them, Zhaire is legit and they get 2021 pick which might be awesome.

Yeah, it's a good deal for them. That pick could be very valuable if the one-and-done ends in 2021.

Cold on Bridges though. Welcome to the league.
