I'm liking it so far. I don't know how repetitive it's going to get, but so far so good and you can earn a fair amount of vbucks to boot.
It's really nothing like L4D2 though.
I reckon vbucks are not transferable between accounts. I play in Switch and there is no STW for that platform. Have to move to PC and try this out.

Yeh it gives you 2 shots and the damage is absurd.
So its worth picking one up then because i usually only pick shotguns up until I find something better.
Yeh it's easily the best shot gun in the game.
Tactical shotgun is better than pump action
All are shittier than each other ever since the constant nerfs.
I'm not even using shotguns anymore. This way when I lose a fight I know I lost it because I missed my shots with the SMG not because I got 7 damage with a headshot with a shotgun.

Cant get 3 kills in Haunted Hills for the life of me, bloody circle never gets near the place.
Why would you hate the SMGs?
Argh, that's my exact opposite.
My preffered loadout:
Burst (Famas), SMG (Drum Gun or New SMG), Rocket Launcher, Mini shields, hunting rifle.
If the bus is starting from that direction, jump directly as around 20 or so people usually jump as soon as the timer starts.

i think im improving. Im consistently getting 4-7 kills at the start of the game, but more often dying soon enough. Im playing squads but usually my squad will all die and leave me 4v1
but fighting in close quarters isnt my strong point at all. Its mainly through use of grenades and well place traps. And i love the smg

When is the PVE going to be free? Any ideas?
Accuracy over medium distances. SMG just sprays stuff all over the place. Assault rifle is so much better.
Prefer shotgun over closer distances.
Thanks guys but im trying to do that, ive been killed so many times by the storm because im so far away from the circle.

they just did a half price deal but don't think it'll ever be free. They're making more than enough from Battle Royale.
Best way to do that sort of thing is just drop there purposely, get a few kills then kill yourself and start again.
If you try and do it while playing a proper match it just takes ages.

Burst/Famas are by far my favourite weapons. I get they aren't to everyone's tastes, but when you get good (and learn to burst upwards a touch) with them then you slay hard. @Slevs
Probably the meta, though I haven't played since the changes.
Fwiw I always loved the silenced smg, very under rated as a weapon. I was sad back in early season 4 when they started buffing it and making it more popular

I havent played in a few weeks too, so Im keen to see hows it changed.
Don't kill yourself by leaving the match though. Your kills won't count.
We reguarly used to land at Haunted when i started playing and used to meet teams.Ive been trying since it came out and still only on 2/5

Yeah sorry when I say "kill yourself" I mean blow yourself up or build a ramp and jump off it.
If you just quit the game it won't count as Slevs says.
I just did a no fill squad game to hide in a bush and get my place top 6 in squads daily challenge. I came back just as the storm is closing in on me and think I'm not quite going to get top 6, so I run around hiding for a bit. End up somehow shooting the last guy standing with a grey SMG to win it

It says PVE is currently in beta mode and will be made available for free in 2018, just doesn't say when.
Oh really? I'd be surprised if they made the game cost money now, and then give it away for free after? unless they refund people or something.
I've not actually tried it anyway, what's it about?
You get founders bonuses and all sorts of stuff, like a couple of cool skins for BR. I bought it recently on sale for me and my two boys and it's good fun tbh.
