19 mins over 5 games seems a little low for Gomes.
Jose rarely plays him for more than 5 minutes at a time. He'll be the first United player in history who will need 20 appearances to play 90 minutes.

Physically, Gomes is nowhere near ready for the first team. It's a big year for him to show he can make a step up to the u23s. He seemed to really struggle last season.

I think there's a good chance that Chong and even younger players like Greenwood and Garner will get to the first team squad before him.

Sam Greenwood signed for Arsenal, and Bali Mumba(still only16)is playing for Sunderland's first team today against Charlton Athletic right now(live on SkySports) has probably decided to stay put, for now
Cheers. Make sense for him to stay there and develop if he is already playing for the first team.

RVP's boy played for City.
Maybe as a 7 year old he played for them but he never signed as you can only sign at 9 and RVP had left by then. City tried to get it in the paper at every opportunity from what I recall. Simply saying If our own players don't trust our academy it's hardly a positive sign.

Doesn't his lad play at Derby? Won't look good for his Dad if he signs for City!
Yes he was at Derby, I think his Dad is doing the right thing, he has a choice of both Academy's, let the kid decide for himself.

Asked lad I know who has lad at City and they have already signed 20 under 13s which is maximum you can have in a full time programme so he reckons they can't sign anymore. Transfer window has closed hasn't it for academy transfers. Must be coming to us?

Derby have obviously released him from his contract due to his parents moving,so he can go where he wants. If City want him, which they do, they will try to sign him, I don’t think their keeper at that age is in the full time program anyway.

Every boy in that age group is on full time programme (including goalkeeper) and as I say their quota is full apparently. United's programme is part time so we can sign upto 30.

I imagine his dad will play a big part to whoever he signs for at that age.

I mean how can he just decide for himself at such a young age alone?

HT: 3-0 (Odubeko x 2, Shoretire). We dominated the possesson and nobody really played badly. Sotona's been our best player with 2 assists and been a nightmare to deal with on the left wing with his pace and skills.

Seems Will Vint has left United due to not getting a visa.

The norwegian trialist is a 13 year old called Isak Hansen Aarøen. He was at United for the first time 3 years ago and was With Liverpool on trial last year. He comes from north-Norwegian club Tromsø most famous for producing Morten Gamst Pedersen

Savage and I.Hughes were our best players for me in the final. Everybody did well. Gallagher-Allison at the back surprised me a lot (in a good way).
