I couldn't possibly write anything that hasn't already been said.
The worst of all is that it seems we are still far, far away from that light at the end of the tunnel.

Absolutely fecking atrocious. How can the biggest club in the world have so little quality? We didn't deserve to get the equaliser we did and even after getting that lifeline we still ballsed it up.

I've no idea what Mourinho is trying to do anymore. We're an absolute mess. Show some attacking intent in one game, soak up pressure and get dominated by a Championship side a week later and we'll be back to attacking soon.

Very worrying: no confidence/morale, no game plan, not enough quality or creativity.

Just home and ready for bed. Feels like we are just a couple of bad results away from meltdown. Pre-season optimism has completely dissipated.

There was preseason optimism? Where?

Mourinho has to go. But there also needs to be a clearout of players as we simply are with a squad full of substandard players. For me De Gea,Dalot,Shaw,Smalling,Baily,Matic,Fred,Peiera,Martial,Rashford,Lingard should stay but the rest can leave. Pogba is a primadonna just thinking about himself and not putting in a effort in most games. Bring in Roy Keane as part of the coaching team and let him at them. Start giving Chong,Gomes,Greenwood,Garner and co some minutes and see what they do. It's getting so bad I'm starting to miss Van Gaal. At least his team could pass the ball and he was not afraid to give youngsters a chance.

It’s official we’re in a big time crisis & in the lowest point of the history of Manchester United. Every thing is going wrong & nothing is going right. It reeks from the core & the disease is spreading to all areas of the fortress that SAF built. To the point it feels like the club is slowly dying. It’s grim ATM there’s no happiness & the fans are being ripped apart. Feels like the Moyes, LVG era all over again where the players don’t give a shit about the legendary red shirt the world famous cub & for the biggest number of supporters around the world. Our football is shit & at times probably the worst from all of the leagues. It’s dire to watch & it’s killing the atmosphere at OT. I just feel sorry for the fans who pay soo much money from their hard earnings to watch the crap on show & get nothing back in return week in week out.

We make a hard game out of most games these days. Teams don't fear us.

Yeah same here. Tuned in to watch the game after my classes, watched us concede the second goal. Had small hope that we will salvage something out of this.

But then phil jones happened..

ONCE AGAIN, the trio of Jones, Young and Smalling has cost us.

Tonight it was Jones. Next time it’ll be Smalling... or Young. Maybe both.

The fact of the matter is this... We will never win anything as long as these three are regulars for us. They are brain dead footballers and that’s the nicest way I can put it. As soon as I see their names on the team sheet, I know there’s a chance we’ll concede goals. It doesn’t matter who we’re playing, doesn’t matter if it’s some League 2 side. They’re not good enough for this level. And everyone knows that deep down.

For a club as big as Manchester United, we should have the best defenders in the league if not the world. And yet here we are, in 2018 trying to convince ourselves the likes of Smalling, Jones and Young are United quality.

Absolutely unbelievable. I knew Jones would miss that penalty. It was all leading up to that moment. I could see the scene playing out in my head before it even happened. You see, everyone else who scored their penalty is actually a decent footballer. Phil Jones on the other hand is not.

We will never improve as a side until we get rid of this problem. And I have to laugh at people blaming Mourinho for this. I suppose you lot think Zidane could just walk in here and wave his magic wand around and all of a sudden Smalling, Jones and Young will become Ramos, Varane and Marcelo. And Herrera will become Modric and Martial will become Ronaldo and Lingard will be like Bale.

That’s the fantasy world you lot are living in. Nobody is winning feck all with this group of players. And nobody is certainly finishing above 2nd with them. Mourinho wanted Alderweireld, he wanted Sandro, he wanted Perisic, he wanted Savic. The board said no and here we are. There’s nobody to blame for this except the board and the talentless bunch of pretenders we’re working with.

Agree with this. It would also be nice if people got over the fantasy that there was 1 button to push and all would be well. Utd wasn't built in a day and it took over a decade to pull it down to this point.

Seriously: How can anyone after tonight make this about one/a few/ all of the players?
We played Derby at home and had 6 players behind the ball in possession at all times. Maybe 5 if I am generous.
I have always said that Mourinho needs to play his his game until he is fecked out of OT, but tonight was just ridicilous. It has nothing to do with the players, it was a cowardly way to approach a game at home against an inferior team.
I am ashamed of how we approached the game tonight. Mourinho should be too.
EDIT
And I didnt even count Moreno/Roided Ashley Young

Umm... Munich? Relegation?
Munich was a non football related tragedy & Yes the relegation of 1974 was bad but we did bounced back instantly the following season.
Do you not think we are in a bad state as a club?
For me it feels like a complete breakdown from top to the premiership team & has been since SAF left. I say that because least the unders & the women’s team are doing quite well respectively. Either Jose is in the wrong or the the players are just crap. For me it’s quite a lot of the latter. At the end of the day regardless of tactics the players who go on the pitch it is their responsibility to win the match. I’m sorry I’m not happy with the state of the current affairs at the club & something needs to be done. This mess has gone on for too long it’s bleeding us & in the footballing world we are miles behind our rivals.

First game since January time where Martial had something like a 7/8 out of 10 performance. Probably the only bright spot. Oh, and Dalot can cross.

What happened to our passing? I thought the Caf had decided that Carrick and McKenna had taught the players to play football. So I guess they took the training against Burnley, Watford and Basel and then handed it back over to Jose..

I was having a think about the passing, it's not the fact they physically can't pass a ball (although, that said, I did see an abysmal attempt by Lukaku late on, but that's besides the point), I find it's the positioning of the players.

All too often I see an enormous open field in the middle filled with sporadic opposition players. I've caught myself pointing at the screen and gesturing a circle followed by an exasperated expression. The lack of darting runs to try and pull the opponents out of shape is depressing, instead its a matter of putting 2 or 3 attackers onto their defensive line, making sure you're not offside, and praying a miracle cross/long pass comes in.

I've seen forwards make a run, not get the ball, stop, then just amble about near where they didn't get the ball delivered too. I've rarely seen them make a run, not get the ball, realise the situation and then make a different run into some space (possibly behind the ball carrier) just to try and open up some more options.

It's always so 'oh I didn't get the ball, feck it, i'll just hang about here and hope it comes to me'.

I see the same things. But over that 3 game run (+ Spurs) our movement was much much better.

I'm afraid OT has turned into the "Theatre of Nightmares". There's just no system in the way we play. No fight in the players. There's so much wrong with the club. It's time for change. Give the job to one of the tea ladies but do something now.
