Well the civil war theory seems to be proven right by Rio on BT who said the dressing room is divided. I sense the board are also divided as Woodward seems to have lost faith in Mourinho. The fans are now totally divided, all in the name of keeping a manager who is taking the club backwards. What will it take for him to go? This is getting ridiculous.

The fact he wasn’t backed in the summer is mental. If the board didn’t want him then why the feck was he kept on.

Wonder if the split is "Mourinho neutral" and "Mourinho out". Doesnt really look like anyone is loving life currently.

I think some of the players realise we'd be doing much better if the whiney cnuts in the dressing room could start behaving like professionals being paid millions and do their job instead of downing tools. This club was built around supporting the manager and no one is bigger than the club but those principles seem to go out the window for fans when things get tough.

It was clear this wasn’t going to work out this time last year when we didn’t progress as a team. We had a solid first season without playing amazing football but the team dug in and we won the trophy we needed to win to get back into the CL and I really thought that was the platform to push on but we’ve regressed massively and it gets worse by the week.

It all does seem a bit odd, judging from his press conferences in pre-season it did seem like he wanted more players but if we weren't going to actually sign the players why is he still here? Did the board think the squad was already good enough? All seems very strange.

This can realistically only end one way. People sometimes argue that it took Fergie 6 years to win the league but those were different times with different players. Sadly, when players decide they don't like a manager the manager goes.

I look forward to Jose going and us bringing in another manager and then suddenly, as if by magic, some of the mediocre or inconsistent players start to play well for a few games getting all our hopes up. Then the cracks will appear again and we'll be back to square one :(

I'm actually not sure who's anti Jose in the dressing room but I can see that the players stopped giving a feck today. Lifeless.

Thing is, even the most ardent supporter of Mourinho has to acknowledge that we're boring, now losing, and he doesn't hang around after three years anyway.
He's run out of ideas, trying anything he can think of, blaming players, and over all looking like a prize bellend.

Why is the board still at the club?? They have been in their ass since Gill and Fergie left.

Quite remarkable how every club Mourinho joins ends up like this.

I agree a new manager is needed....but does this instantly resolve the splits in the camp? It seems to go deeper than Jose v Pogba. If Pogba wants out and is playing badly, why bother keeping him? Have a fire sale in January. After all, it can't get much worse than losing against Derby and West Ham.

None of the players are doing well so they best not start blaming each other. Of course there is a split in the dressing room. Mourinho caused this division.

On his side I think: Lukaku, Matic, Young, Fellaini
Rash & Lingard: neutral

Reports say Pogba, Bailly, Martial, Perreira, Fred and Shaw against Jose's lieutenants Lukaku, Matic, Alexis, Young, Valencia and Fellaini.
That's odd Lukaku and Pogba are supposed to be best of mates.

Players from both sets you mentioned, went out for a meal not long ago.

I know which group I'd pick.

This split camp stuff is bullshit. I can't tell which sets of players look arsed. They all look lost.

Lukaku looks to me like someone who would do anything to maintain his untouchable status.

Maybe he's more of neutral. I actually see Rashford as anti Jose as he's probably thinking he should be getting more game time.

I mean I doubt it's anything as tribal as what the press is indicating. It's probably just a group of players who'd love to see him gone and a group who still supports him.

I think the brand of football puts certain players off, especially when it doesn’t get results. I think most of the players can see that we have the potential to play nice football yet we are forced to park 10 players in our own half and hoof it up to lukaku even against championship level teams. I can imagine it’s easy to lose motivation and ambition when you know you can’t play to the best of your abilities.
