Get fecking in.
Last chance saloon for Jose, he needs to build off of this.
Chelsea is huge, actually win that and our season can actually start.

Pogba was absolutely fantastic. Mata did really well and brought some composure. My throat is hurting. If you saw Mou, not saying he should not be sacked, showed so much passion at the end - certainly not the look of someone looking for the sack. Let’s see what goes down but I am really happy right now especially after that start. Go Utd!

Everyone terrible in the first half.

Second half after 15 minutes we were a different team. Pogba brilliant, Martial much better, Sanchez did well. Lukaku poor but it'll take him scoring an OG on purpose to get dropped

People need to calm down - wow we beat relegation fodder Newcastle at home for fecks sake! and only because Jose had no choice but to attack after going 2 goals down . Next matches he will revert to defensive type and we'll get done over. All today did was proove how his tactics are holding the teams potential back - some people in here blow with the wind - he needs to go asap.

Apologists running out of excuses considering how players are putting in the effort, especially their favourite targets Pogba and Martial.

3 points is great but my God this team needs a proper attacking manager.

When does a win feel like a loss?

When some fans want Jose gone so badly!

Not a fan of our manager but if it gives him a stay of execution then whatever. We won the game and that's the most important thing to me.

Great second half - incredible that all of Pogba, Sanchez and Martial were involved in it too. Says a lot given all of the (potential) shit spouted about where their heads are at. Should say a lot about United should play going forward though, clearly not gonna go much further playing structured Mourinho defensive tactics, so if it is for him to stay, look to evolve.....but haven't we been there before?

Last 20 minutes showed me that it’s all Jose’s fault, those players aren’t rubbish, they haven’t downed tools, it’s just Jose’s rubbish decisions and tactics. Took the reigns off and we saw what the guys could do when there are bodies forward and they are allowed to play and work together with options.

Pogba gets a lot of stick and people saying he has quit playing or doesn’t care about United, didn’t look like it today and neither did it look like it for Martial. Both looked like they wanted and looked the most likely to create something the whole game.

Gives me hope that if a manager comes in now there is certainly the tools there to do something so the rest of the season isn’t a total loss.

So can the recently barrage of posts blaming the player for lack of effort simply stop now? I don't know how after watching that someone can say the players didn't care and are purposely trying to get rid of Mou

We managed to beat a terrible Newcastle team by 1 late goal and I'm buzzing. The best 45 minutes of football I've seen us play in ages.

One for the record books, as always Newcastle at home, remember Carricks goal... Imagine this team attacking you, Mourinho puts so much brakes to the folks. Incredible second half

Such a confusing game. Bottom of the barrel stuff in the first half turned into an impressive and amazing comeback in the end. Passing was fantastic in the last 30min as well which is more than welcome.

So pleased for Alexis that he gets the game winner as well.

Newcastle paid the penalty of being out of sight in the first half. Pogba, Martial and Shaw turned it around in the second half. Matic, Lukaku has serious problems with confidence. Hope this is not a sugar-coated 20 Minutes. We should be sleepwalking a win against this team at Old Trafford.

The theory that the players want Jose out should die.

It doesn't make much sense anyway. Because many of those players might be shipped out if/when another manager comes.

Jose was pissed walking into the tunnel at HT and the players responded and did well to overturn a 2 goal lead.

Well done boys

This thread is a ghost town. Nobody really know what to say. Good come back and credit to Jose Mourinho for it. Obviously we are still nowhere near where we should be and he is fighting an uphill battle, but if we can blame him when its bad he has to get credit when we turn it around

Great game. Great character test. Pogba magnificent. Fair play to Young. Fecked up then turned it around. Must say a lot of the Caf cannot be called Manchester United supporters. Suck on that you Mou and MU haters. Surely a season changer, well ought to be anyway. Get the feck in.
Season changer eh? We did this sort of "great comeback" against City last season. Then back to playing Mou style in FA Cup Final.

Well Done United. Finally played like a United team should play. Credit to Pogba, Mata, Martial & Sanchez.
Worrying signs for Rashford and Lukaku who just can't get involved in anything.

I am guessing this match turns the tide. We will beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and City as well plus Juve. It is going to happen.

They havent given a shit all season. Today, they did. The effort and quality was phenomenal and like the United of old. Well done to the team.
Yes they did but only for the last 15 minutes. Prior to that they were rubbish at best.

If anybody isn't sure what confidence or the lack of it does to players this was a perfect example.

This win is not because of Mourinho- It's inspite of him. We won because finally all the technical players like Sanchez, Mata, Martial, Pogba, Shaw linked up well, brought a much needed intensity and speed into the attack.

Keep in mind, the classic Mourinho players did all they could to bring us down again. Matic was absolute sh!t, Fellaini clueless the moment the tempo went up, Lukaku anonymous, ponderous and generally poor. Young was horrendous first half, second half improved.

It's ironic that the players Jose wanted out are saving his @SS, while his undroppables are trying their utmost to send him out. Still, after a long time, we showed some guts and had an enjoyable match.

Pogba my man of the match. He was a leader on the pitch during that second half.

Pogba was brilliant in that second half. Martial was excellent after 70th min. This game was a emotional rollercoaster. So pleased for Sanchez too. Credit to Jose as well, took a massive risk in second half and payed off. I just hope this does not mask our issues and we actually move forward from here. Chelsea and Juve next, so a huge few weeks to come. For once let's not even discuss Jose position in the club and actually just enjoy this result. Still lots of work to do, but they all deserve credit for that second half especially Jose and Pogba. Ironic hey!

Jose's trusted players were utter shite today, while Pogba and Martial were at the heart of our victory. Hope he learns from that.

Pogba, Martial, Sanchez, Mata and Fellaini did very well in the second half.

Matic was embarrassing today.

Stop with this McTominay in defence nonsense please. Painful to watch.

But that comeback tho

France - can't win anything with Swedish turnips
Absolutely dreadful first half, thoroughly enjoyable second half.

This sums up Mourinho. Pick the wrong mix of players to start, wait until we go down before we start playing - second half the players seem to say to themselves, sod Mourinho's tactics , let's play attacking football.

Now if we attacked from the beginning, play faster football, pressure the opposition and our players regained their confidence plus being proactive we would actually be a good team. Instead we always have to be reactive and that is why Mourinho has to go this international break.

Pogba good throughout, Mata and Martial very good second half.

McTominay, Young, Bailly and Matic were terrible in the first half and Rashford can't head the ball .

Great comeback at the end there. Newcastle won't believe that's happened, we were dejected in the first half and completely resigned to the inevitable.
