It’s been decent. Show a bit more bravery in the final 3rd and who knows??

I think you would have been a complete nutter not to have taken a 0-0 at HT away to probably the best team in Europe.

We’ve done fine. It’s not sexy “fast paced FIFA ping pong passing” but it’s adequate thus far.

In the context of our season you can’t complain a great deal at that half. We’re never going to suddenly start playing frenetic football but at the very least we’re keeping the ball better and competing in this game.

That said, I think (defenders apart) this Juventus side aren’t up to much. Khedira and Cuadrado should be nowhere near a top side.

I think Shaw is getting found out at this level. He's god awfully defensively but that's not clear in most league games.
That whole backline isn't suitable for this level, let alone Shaw

    Need more from Pogba.

Pleased with the team overall. Lindelöf really blossoming at the moment. We are sorely missing a threat on the right though. Rashford will probably get 20-30 mins and could cause problems.

Shaw has been really poor: Four times taken on, twice by Ronaldo and twice by Cuadrado. Couldn't stop any of them and has given away several free-kicks. Weakest link.

That’s why he never solidifies his spot in our team. Him and Mata just love those backpasses. Was screaming my Lungs out when he did that.
Yep, if he was 20% more positive in moving the ball forward we would have some player on our hands.

Because he knows no other way to play, he is not that intelligent of a footballer.
You don't really need to be 'intelligent' to play off the shoulder. It's just not the way he plays.

    There's only one United!
You must be watching the 99 semi final match cuz this game we stinking out Turin.
I beg to disagree with you.

Everyone thought this Juve team would massacre us but we're showing that we're not afraid to go forward and play football here in Turin.

Jose certainly did not come to defend and that's a big plus.

    No parking the bus tonight.

That was awful stuff, I'm falling asleep here.

I guess we are not being outplayed as badly as at Old Trafford but we're very poor on the ball.

Juve are a bit off their game thankfully.
Not really. The game seems to have continued on from the second half of the first game.

Definately better than we were at home. We've looked a lot better as a unit. Instead of dropping off and letting Juve control the play, we pressed and when we won it, kept the ball quite well ourselves.

What we need to do is now believe in ourselves and go and make something happy. We need our best players to step up, especially Pogba. He is our key man. When he's on it, we create chances and look dangerous going forward.

Pogba will never, ever, ever, ever be a Centre Midfielder of real quality.

He loses the ball when fired at him OR aahen he gets the ball, he’s ALWAYS trying something over the top. He gets dispossessed far too easily for a guy if his technique and size.

He can only play up top. Nowhere else. A deep attacking midfielder. That’s about it.

I had a look at the dispossessed stats for premier league players and he features 4th in the league with 28 dispossessions.

The top 5... are strikers! He loses the ball like he’s a striker. That says it all.

United desperately need a metronome who will take the ball in midfield and pass anywhere and everywhere on the pitch. We need a Kroos or a Pjanic.

We always need a moment of brilliance from Martial or Pogba to score and it hasn't arrived yet. That's the difference between scoring or not. Pogba hasn't got going yet.

    Red Card for Casemiro!
Very pleased with what I saw, best first half in ages.

Loved how Sanchez has been so dynamic and evasive, coming deep to get the ball, linking up with fancy plays and making the right movements. Also pleased with his defensive and pressing efforts. Good game, lad. Lindelof has been a rock at the back, evidenced by the number of times the backline passes the ball to him every time they're under pressure. His positioning while dealing with killer balls from Juve has been great.

They are hacking down Martial too often, if that were Hazard, a card would have been out by now. Shaw is too suspect, and Pogba has been having one of his off days so far. I counted at least twice where he gave away the ball trying something fancy, and we had to deal with an extended period of pressure, and narrowly avoided conceding.

Matic needs to be careful, that was a horror tackle in the 11th minute. Lucky to be on the pitch. Lingard may not look like he's adding much, but his movement helps Sanchez so much. Looks rusty, though. Herrera almost responsible for a goal, losing Khedira like that, but good otherwise.

DDG in beast mode as always.

Love what I'm seeing against potential CL champs. Looking forward to the second half.

My Guess is that Lingard is there to mark Sandro. However, he contributes absolutely nothing in Attack.

Okay half. I think we have a decent amount of possession so we haven't had to relentless Juve pressure but we've not looked a threat going forward at at all. Juve had a few decent chances and look the more likely but think we've restricted them to an extent.

Can’t really complain. We’ve held our own. Yes, we’re obviously not on the same level but we’re coping with the game well enough that we could well get something.

Our flaws are there and annoying (crap at counters being one) but if we can grab a goal or two we’re laughing.

Does Young intend to win any headers? They just keep lofting the ball up to Sandro and he keeps winning it time and time again.

Our attack is pitiful. No off the ball movement, no players in the box, just aimless passing. Not sure it's just our players now either. What on earth do we do at training? I think the only team this United attack is good against is the United defence.

Yes, a point here is a good result, although in the grand scheme of things means nothing. We may as well go for it and lose. A loss against Valencia on matchday 6 regardless of today's result means we will be out.

Considering that we seem to go a goal down against literally any PL team, we've done okay here. We don't really look like scoring though, and they do a bit. Looking at it positively, we're doing alright defensively and occasionally we've looked up for it on the break. Need to see more aggression though, I think this Juve team aren't all that defensively and we can make chances if we really go for it.

Ronaldo is interesting. Doesn't look like anyone is man marking him and he's not really been a danger despite that.

Been decent with some periods of shite football. The ref needs to start calling fouls from Juve players more often though.

Hopefully that is not Shaw starting to drop off after getting a new deal
Well let's be honest, he is playing against the best player in the world. If that's what it takes for him to play bad then i'm fine with that. 9/10 times he will play against someone with 10% of Ronaldo's abillity.

I'm noticing the trend of people saying "Matic was shite" etc just for the sake of it. Becoming tiresome already.
