It's simple guys, according to Jamie Jackson we should sign 7 first team players.

We sign players and they stagnate. It's ridiculous really. How many of our signings have come to this club and improved as players? We need a shake down from top to bottom.

It has happened over and over, with different coaches. Rarely has there been a positive surprise, but many negative where talents or established star players disappoint.

We're at the point now where before big league games they must drop acid.

So his solution is to spend a billion pounds by signing the likes of pjanic(unavailable), sandro(unavailable), another cb, another mid, a talent like sane cos they are lying around and a 20 goal scorer from the wing?

Wow managing is easy.

So we only need to sign a completely new back four, get a new midfielder, an elite finisher and a game-changer. Genius! Incredible insights in this article.

Other clubs sign players and they make an immediate impact. People on here write it off as the honeymoon period before they get 'found out'. We sign players and they can't even make it into the starting XI

Whats your definition of unavailable?

Juventus wanted €60m but we werent willing to pay and decided to rest our hope on shaw.

Quality players are usually not cheap.

One of uniteds biggest issues is player loyalty.

For example chelsea signed bakayoko last summer and he was shit, so this season they replaced him and hes disappeared.

We sign a player, they're generally poor, yet thry remain around the first team squad for year, getting loads of playing time. We seem to have quite a few of these sorts of players as well.

Players who wouldn't want to leave a juve side top of serie a for a united one that is eight right now
Do you have any evidence that either player doesnt want to come to United or you are just assuming?

If a signing doesnt work, its the managers fault and we cant let him replace them

Genius advice for the attack: get "an elite-level finisher and a game changer", not even suggesting actual players

Amazed at how fans think they know better as they can see the bigger picture. We've no idea of how a club runs and the politics involved. We're certainly not privy to how the owners direct the club to be ran. Sounds so simply just to offload players and everything will,be fine, but it isn't.

He's not wrong but personally I'd keep Herrera as a bench option and sell Lukaku.

This is not a realistic article for an overhaul of a real football club but it is guidance and tactics for when starting off playing a football management game.

Jamie cribbed this article from the caf. It's just a cobbled together rehash of what we've been saying for a long time.

Why would any Juventus player want to join us?! That seems to be his solution.. Buy Juventus. Yeah... Favourites for the champions League, just signed Ronaldo, but sure.

He's an arse. It's not about competing with city right now, it's about being able to outplay Brighton and Newcastle without it being a total struggle. If we were only second best to city we'd be 3 points behind them, not 12.

It is fair to assume, until there is clear evidence to the contrary, that a player is willing to join and the club is willing to sell at the right price. Otherwise why bother pursuing players and not simply wait for them to profess their undying love for our club from the top of Everest.

Utterly pointless article and not really worth the thread, pretty much every team in the world could be improved if you bought a better defence than they already had, a world class midlfielder, an elite finisher and a game changer. just crap clickbait

Jamie probably got the idea from City because thats exactly what Guardiola did, signed more and more players until he got it right.

Problem for United and Mourinho is they have to work within legitimate income and are not being financially doped by a gulf state.

Phew. I was worried it would be complicated or unrealistic but according to Jamie, we just need to:

  1. Sell Sanchez, McTominay, Herrera, Smalling, Valencia, Young, Jones, Darmian, and Rojo.
  2. Loan out Rashford.
  3. Buy 2 CBs, LB, RB, a creative CM, an elite-level finisher, and a game changer.
  4. Decide Mourinho's fate and either back him for the next few years or sack him.
  5. Renew De Gea's contract
