I am still gutted it’s not worked out for him...but he just has to go. It just gets worse every week. Surely the board could just think of the pay off like a new signing. It would invigorate the club.

Feels like he’s actively sabotaging us now. Throwing together a make shift formation and line up in such a big game. Playing all his mates. Waiting so long to bring on Mata and Martial, persisting with Matic and Lukaku again.
He’s a complete and utter disgrace at the moments and for me he’s now gone beyond LVG and Moyes because he’s actively being unprofessional and there’s not a single redeeming quality in this team at the moment.

I like Jose. I defended Jose. But at some point we have to admit this doesn't work. Today it was embarrassing. Please sack Jose. Don't wait any more, do it now.
Same here, man.
I just changed my vote, in the poll.
It's pretty clear that Jose cannot take us forward.

People thinking everything will be alright when Jose get booted out will need to take a good look at our squad. 6th is about for a squad lacking quality or technqiue. I never seen a Utd team so incapable of doing simple 5 yard passes so before you lot say 'JoSE sPenT 400m', most of these players that played tonight were there before Jose.

If three managers can't get this team working, what can Jardim or Zidane do with these players?
No one believes that everything will be alright but I watch lots of teams with lesser players playing a better brand of football . It's a joke that this team has 26 points grom 48 while playing dire football with no clear plan

LVG and Jose have had their moments, but it's crumbled away.
There's other managers who have spent way less and managed to produce a much better style of play, so we need to get one of those!

Obviously easier said than done, but Arsenal and Chelsea's managers have come in and suddenly made a good improvement in half a season.

Nah feck him. I felt sorry for LVG, at least he was respectful to the club, this guy doesn't give a shit.

Liverpool had the most shots today (36) in two years.

As I said before the game, I don't mind us sitting back, as long as we're a threat on the counter. Apart from a couple of decent moments, we had nothing going forward.

Jose is a coward and needs to go.

Got the best out of Pogba. PL winner. Unfairly sacked. Brilliant manager. And Ed Woodward will like this bit... Free

Agree 100000%. Poor Jose got to work with these useless cnuts who have obviously never seen a ball in their lives. We should extend his contract.

Jose is a disease. He puts his personal vandetta ahead of what's best for the club.

Not playing Pogba was a disgrace and as to that the fact he clearly had no intention of ever bringing him on.

He had him in the bench as a statement. To embarrass him! Disgraceful. Pogba is a pawn in Jose game to blame anyone but himself as his favourites who are ironically our worst players.

Fans are on the edge now. Something has got to give by April.

Give him a temp contract and reassess at the end of the season
A manager of the calibre of Zidane, is not going to sign a temp contract.
We need to hire a new manager (no temps or trainees) - that's pretty obvious.

What are the current redeeming qualities of Mourinho?

He has funny one liners in press conferences, occasionally. That’s it, there’s nothing else.

It’s like when LVG told everyone there’s wine and mince pies - it was funny and odd, but you knew he wasn’t gonna lead us to glory.

We look like a proper mid-table team: occasionally able to sneak a point off the big boys yet just as liable to get spanked by them, perpetually inconsistent, sometimes able to handily beat a lower-end team yet rarely ever winning games with immense ease or comfort.

Agreed, I think Mourinho should go, but Poch,Klopp,Pep and co all working together wouldn't get this team competing, we've wasted a hell of a lot of money.
I couldn't care if Jose get sacked now or the end of the season but we must not wipe out his achivements over a bad first half of the season. He got dealt a raw hand in the summer and we now seeing the consequences. Our anger should be aimed at Woodward and the other morons running this club, not Mourinho.

Thats the issue. We've never been a counter-attacking side under Mourinho. They actually collect stats on goals scored from counter-attacks and we rarely do.

So we're just a hoofball side.

Calibre? He’s relatively unproven.

If there’s a chance other more preferable managers will be available in summer it makes sense to have a temp.
I’m not saying Zidane will go for that but it’s not unfeasible.

I just changed my Yes vote into a new Yes just because i loathe him so much!

When your biggest rival is your own manager, feck me this is just pathetic now i am emotionally numb now,i lost my love for watching United play. It feels like going to work and do something cause you have to, not because its exciting to watch United play anymore.

It's an incredible job, but we all feared it after the dreadful summer transfer window.
Thing is, that "dreadful summer transfer window" felt dreadful mostly because 1) we were playing appalling football for most of the previous season and because 2) Mourinho couldn't shut the feck up about it.

If we ignore those two factors, what happened was that the team that finished second bought a promising RB and a 50m central midfielder without losing any important players at all. Which is really no reason for the absolute implosion we are seeing.

Enough! If the man has ANY pride, he should jump if he isn’t pushed.
Please, someone with influence behind the scenes, ACT NOW. Force the board to make a change.

On your own there.

Mourinho is a horrible little man. Nothing humorous about it at all.

Mathematical impossibility is a shit clause, if it actually exists.

It should be based on if the win percentage or points difference between us and our rivals drops below a certain amount, with the aim to salvage whilst it is still salvageable. We shouldn't be this far behind already.

TLDR Jose out.

Doesn't matter who the manager is. If the players are allowed to rule the roost it will be a failure.

Ferguson clashed with Stam, Beckham, Keane. As soon as that happened Ferguson was empowered to ship them out. Mourinho clearly wanted to ship out Pogba and Martial this summer but was overruled. That sends a message to the players that the managers say and the managers opinion is not final. Because of that the players can be prima Donnas.

Unless the top of the club changes philosophy it will continue like this.

Van Gaal, Mourinho, these aren't hopeless managers. They've won 3 champions leagues and league titles in multiple countries. Do you really believe they don't understand the game?

Instead our owners would rather back Pogba because of his marketability. Doesn't matter that he undermines the manager cos he sells shirts.

Ok, he sells shirts. But the result of under-minding the manager can be seen on the pitch.
I really wish people would stop spouting this nonsense.

Poch is not coming here. We really shouldn't be hanging our hopes on him. He is leading that lot in to the new stadium. Get a proper coach in now like Jardim. We need proper coaching! It's the most vital thing.
Agree. Jardim is available, has a decent record in league, and CL, and has brought through a number of talented players from the youth ranks, EXACTLY what we need. Give him a 2.5 year contract, which should be enough to evaluate the current squad, promote some academy players, and gives him a few transfer windows to bring in the final pieces in the jigsaw.

Kevin Moran just called out Mourinho on MUTV for not improving the players. Moran is being brutally honest on how shit we're which is refreshing to see.

“What can you do here?”
“We can definitely finish top 6”

That’s not what the question was asking Jose.
