I see so called 'Man Utd' still posting shit against his personality and humanity. If you got nothing better to post, please feck off!!!

As for me, I wish Ed joins in as well. We will never be a serious club with him still running the show.

Quite gutted truth be told, I thought he'd give it everything to get us back to the top, showing he's still a world class managed. Was give a 3 year contract to build the club up again and wasn't fully backed in the summer (within his original contract), we are in a poor state from top to bottom, this isn't just Mourinho at fault, the players have been shocking also and struggle with things that are a given as a professional footballer, like passing a football to a teammate.

A new manager won't make the likes of Lukaku, Lingard, Fellaini, Jones, Rojo and Matic brilliant players and that's 3/4 of a football teams spine.

Edit: this to me seems like acceptance from Ed and the board that we'll be knocked out by PSG and wouldn't get top 4. Hopefully they spend the rest of the season getting the club in shape with a decent plan.
Two of those players were Jose signings and the others were inexplicably picked by him whenever possible. The new manager doesnt have to make them good players, he just doesnt need to play them.

Thanks for the first season and the first half of the second season. It’s been an avalanche of disappointment and letdown beyond that.

He’s not totally to blame for all our problems. Why the board gave him a new contract then didn’t back him in the summer is baffling and totally understandable he’d be fecked off with them... but holy shit did he throw a tantrum over it and didn’t just get on with it.

I don’t expect us to start playing breathtaking football and winning week in-week out as there are more issue in this club and some players are not good enough.

But I’m looking foward to seeing an end to this constant negativity that Jose was on all the time.

Today 3 years ago Mournho was sacked by Chelsea as well. December is not a good time for Jose
They specifically said 2 days?
yeah 48hrs until they announce an external candidate until the end of the season

Rooney's ball and van Persie's volley.
I understand the sentiment that many are feeling right now. Happiness, relief, opportunistic, relaxed - what have you!

But, a thought just struck me, how in the name of feck did we turn into a bunch of fans who celebrate a mid-season sacking of our head coach? Given the situation we had been and all of that, yes, I agree, but even then, what is it with the mid-season sack that makes me want to unrelate to United for a second?

  • Totttenham lure as a football club is growing. With London fan base and strong connections to the city, they remain an attractive propositiion for all young footballers.
  • Daniel Levy is the best chairman in football who likes to hold on to his best assets
  • With new stadium just round the corner it's clear as a day that Tottenham is set to become England's biggest club within the next 10 years
  • Over the last two years they managed to not lose to Barcelona, Dortmund and Real Madrid in the group stages of Champions League for two consecutive seasons, providing England with some of the best European nights ever
  • Tottenham have one of the best training grounds in the entire Europe, a state-of-art facility that helps Poch in development of young footballers
  • Poch is commited to a long term project that sees Tottenham winning 3 Champions League titles and 5 Premier League titles within the next 10-year span

Great news!

But why Carrick? Mckenna has more experience right? I think he deserves it more.

Thanks for a bringing a little swagger in the first season, briefly making us feared opponents in the second, and a few wins over rivals. Hated him towards the end, but my hate is ebbing away now he's gone.

He won 2 trophies, signed some exciting players and for the briefest moment brought a little swagger back to the club.

The style and demeanour of his tenure will forever overshadow this though, he'll be forever remembered for dour football and revealing the soft underbelly of our 'millions' of global supporters.

Won 2 trophies and we had good wins over City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs in his time here.

This final half a season has been such a disaster it really has poisoned his legacy here. It's been appalling.

Lukaku will probably get a chance under a new manager, even if I can’t see him lasting long, but Matic will be out on his back for sure come the summer.
Hopefully only until Sanchez is back fit.

I can't see a progressive manager looking past a front three of Rashford, Martial and Sanchez if Lukaku is the fourth option.

It's because we took so long to do it. It should've been done months ago. It's like months of frustration let out in one big sigh of relief.

Potential candidates:
  • Marco Rose
  • Ralph Hasenhüttl
  • Erik ten Hag
  • Julian Nagelsmann
  • Pablo Machin
  • Lucien Favre
  • Leonardo Jardim
  • Zinedine Zidane
Hard to pick one.
Rose, Hasenhüttl or Nagelsmann would be so exciting. Doubt they are in contention though.

One of the biggest mistakes the club has ever made, getting rid of Mourinho. It was the players, it was always the players. Now, nobody good will come and manage this joke of a club. What a sad day for football fans of Manchester United.
Get a load of this guy

There is absolutely no chance that Poch will leave Spurs just as the new stadium opens.
He wont leave mid season no. I'd be amazed if he's still with you next season though what with both us and Real Madrid after him

For the record I feel he'll be Madrid bound but I'd like him here. He wont bring trophies but at least we'll be well coached and half decent to watch again

Best news ever! This has made my day. The loss to Liverpool was a small price to pay.

Thank god, disgusting person terrible manager, get the feck out!! Now get someone who plays good football and doesn’t throw players under a bus every PC

@haram @Ban unlucky boys hahahha
I know you weren't the biggest fan of him but I completely agree with you there.

Also love how the media didn't have a fecking clue. SkySports until last night were reporting that we had no plans to sack him :lol:

Clueless feckwits.

Finally we can get some positivity into this club. Hope we recruit carefully seeing as the last three managers have been complete and utter duds.

Thanks for making me the closest thing to indifferent I've ever been regarding United and your consistent moaning/deflecting. Thanks for always protecting your own reputation over that of the club's. Thanks for doing a marvelous job of lowering our expectations. Thanks for spending millions on players and proceeding to alienate them. Couldn't have left soon enough. Good riddance!

Don't think he has done anything any other manager couldn't to be fair.
True. I think the LC and EL were winnable regardless. But I always liked Jose and I'd like to thank him for the following:

- For trying to change into a nice guy and adapt in his first season. Yeah, he relapsed, but at least he had the respect to try.

- The 2 trophies obviously.

- Signing Pogba, who I think might still be persuaded to stay and become more consistent.

- Last season's wins against the big teams.

- Phasing out Rooney, our biggest headache, in a professional manner.

- Most other signings, which aren't top quality, but aren't completely shit like LvG's buys -- I mean, there is still hope for Bailly and Lindelof yet.

I wish him the best. Ultimately, he has been a great manager and I don't like to see his career wind up with a whimper. Hope he gets the Real job.
