It is a right decision to sack him. I would love to see him to be successful here but it just not working out

You have an over inflated opinion of your club. By whatever barometer you want to use Utd, are far bigger and successful than Spurs. If it's actually that Utd have won more in 3 years than spurs have in 26 years - then I apologise... the point remains.

Contracts mean very little, just so that either side can get compensation if they move. I assume he wasn't out of contract when he went from Southamotion to spurs? So you know how it works.
That's still wrong, but never mind.

Contracts aren't the issue. The issue is that Pochettino won't want to leave Spurs for United.

You can huff and puff all you like about being "far bigger and successful", you can wave your mega-rich cheque book in the air until you're blue in the face, but in the end the truth is that it's you who has an "over inflated opinion" about the current attractiveness of United in comparison to Spurs.

To be fair to Mourinho he got us halfway there in a project we probably all gave around 3 years. He was a good appointment for the first two years, as we needed to get up again.

The project was progressing well as we got to 2nd. The last stage is where he couldn't deliver and everything took a U-turn. We're maybe 20% better off than when he started now as we have a better squad. The football was just too negative and not creative.

I'd like a manager that knows how football should be played these days, that will coach and improve players and won't start a feud with everyone on this god damn planet.

Other than that, with some investment in the summer we'll be alright, just need a positive manager.

It might sound off, but I'm sure the club will get it right this time. Getting it wrong with one of the biggest managers in world football might ring some bells in our board and wake them the feck up.

The 3rd season meltdown incoming was the most obvious thing ever. Can't believe that some people didn't see it with his behavior in the offseason already.

He was well on his way to burning the club down. Made so many of us lose interest in football for a while.

feck off, thanks for nothing.

This seasons a write off at this stage. So i hope the club just appoints someone who plays decent football. And sign a fecking winger in January.

Give the fans 6 months of attacking football if we come in the top 4 bonus.

His football is not as attractive as it is claimed to be. His record in Europe is patchy. He seems to have a mental block with trophies.

Not sure about him at all.

Red Card for Casemiro!
Ole Gonnar Solskjaer over the last few years:

2011,12: Won Norway's top league in consecutive years with Molde.
2013: Left Molde at 6th, went to Cardiff in Jan '14.
2014/15: Finished 20th with Cardiff, having winning 3 and drawing 9 of his 18 games in the PL. Scored 17 goals, conceded 42 in those 18 games. Left Cardiff after a bad start to the Championship.
2016: Finished 5th after taking over Molde halfway through the season.
2017, 2018: Finished 2nd in the Norwegian top league with Molde
2019: currently 2nd in the table with Molde

Refused to move to England with family for an Aston Villa stint after going back at Molde.

No way, Zidane inherited a team full of winners. UTD are in a rebuild stage and need a manager who will not cry if he doesn't get what he wants and I can only think of 1 who's proven this without a shadow of doubt and that's Pochettino!
Go check how much Real Madrid won in the 5 seasons before Zidane.

Somehow United are constantly at a rebuild stage since Sir Alex left, yet Real & Chelsea and co get rid of their managers all the time and manage just fine.

Question, if Mourinho is appointed as Real's manager does this mean we wil get compensation from them?

He had his time, sadly. He was a great manager but at every club he or 3 good years before he alienated everyone. I can safely say I never wanted him her - a few years ago perhaps - but he was showing signs of being a busted flush by the time he came here. Yes, he actually did well for a couple of years but can anyone honestly say he won trophies by playing the United way ?

That’s just silly. You could give a manager a trial, he gets us to a CL final and then we’re stuck with him for 3 years because of a lucky run in the cup.

We need to hire the next manager properly, not just throw a trial at a big name. Director of football needs to be appointed BEFORE the next full time manager.

Edit: James Cooper just confirmed this on Sky Sports!
Confirmed what? I just looked at his twitter and there's nothing there.

However, I did just notice his username is @coopdlopp which is very good

What rubbish are you talking about. He's done wonders for the budget he's on. Imagine what he'll do with our squad and resources. He is a world class coach and would improve us 10 fold.
:lol::lol::lol:

From Kane to Lukaku/Rashford, from Alderweireld/Vertonghen to Smalling.

Spurs have had a better squad than us for ages and he still has won feck all. Pochettino is a developmental coach, a serial bottler.

So he didn’t blow that title race then?

We don’t know what he’d do with a superior budget - so it remains a gamble, end of.

World class coach? He’s won feck all.

Improve us 10 fold? That’s some margin you are claiming there? With these players?

Based upon what?
Based on the fact we don't have pochh type players who are direct, who can fill spaces and make off the ball attacking runs, and who can control the midfield like his team at spurs.

Zidane got the balance perfect in madrid with his cohesive football though he was neither too attacking or too defensive, with a specific eye for detail study on opposition weaknesses that's how he won 3 ucl in a row.

I think these set of players will fit those tactics.

I’d like to see it tbh. I love Ole. Enjoy watching Molde too.

No doubt we will be having the same conversation in 2/3 seasons after the next manager is fired. Without a huge structural re-organisation it is difficult to see anything but this constant merry go round happening again.

Thank you Jose for not embarrassing the club by paying your hotel bills on time.

We need to go all out for him. I don't know how much he would cost, but just pay it.

Fully agree with Neville's assessment of him just now on SSN.
I said this elsewhere, as an outside bet and if Wolves let him go Nuno Espírito Santo

This is true. I don't think people watch a lot of spurs and have just willed that to be true.

It's one of those Moyes played some decent stuff with Everton. Obviously pochs spurs play much better football than that, it's still not that special though.

Nope. We'd move from some trophies and zombie football to no trophies and a scintillating watch.

I'd want someone who can give us trophies and a scintillating watch.

Blanc has become favourite with the bookies in the last few minutes. Went from 8/1 to 4/6 currently.
