I'd be surprised if he didn't entertain the possibility. Especially if the club do appoint a DOF that he has previously worked with. It's like being offered the job at Real Madrid at the moment - you have a lot of ageing stars that need replacing, sky high expectations from the board and fans, and limited power for the manager. Yet a lot of managers would still jump at that opportunity. It's possible that United could offer Poch the job and get mooned in return, but I would suspect otherwise. It's kind of amusing how so many posters assume that it's just a question of how much it will cost to "take" Pochettino, without ever wondering if he's actually willing to leave Spurs for United.
Graham Roberts - an ex-Spurs' player with plenty of club connections - comments on the media claims that Pochettino wants to go: “Ha ha ha ha total rubbish"
I think it is still unlikely. Why would he want to leave a club that he is almost there with for one that has an absolute circus around it? If he fails then his stock drops significantly to leave a job unfinished for sake of glory. I think if he were to entertain a move away, we would be higher than RM. I do hope he comes to us as he is probably the best person that is available right now but again who knows. He might turn to crap as soon as he come to us.I'd be surprised if he didn't entertain the possibility. Especially if the club do appoint a DOF that he has previously worked with. Don't you know we are restructuring?Poch is pretty good mates with Jose.
So there will be a conversation & Jose obviously will enlighten Poch about the problems he encountered here with the players & upper management from his perspective.
Will Poch still want to come after Jose sticks the boot in?
It is a hard one for me, I don't really like the football that Spurs play and Pochettino has never won anything which I do find worrying considering the amount of time he has now had at a top 6 club. On the other hand it would disappoint Glaston.
He has been doing a great job at 2 clubs. Whether he won something or not, I dont think it matters really. Jose won everything, and so did LVG. Both were shit managers for us.It is a hard one for me, I don't really like the football that Spurs play and Pochettino has never won anything which I do find worrying considering the amount of time he has now had at a top 6 club. Its not so easy with levy at spurs and real madrid in competition for him as well.Obviously there's a chance it will all depend on Ole's results and performance, but in case we end up looking for a new manager this summer, I think we'll go for Poch and Spurs will go for Howe.
Yep I know but I've seen some quotes of him where he's prising SAF and UTD so I think there might be something there. Its not so easy with levy at spurs and real madrid in competition for him as well.
Also, I wonder he will need a bedding in time as well right since we don't necessarily have the players pochh football needs.
From what I've read about him seems as if he make a good choice but I don't know if he is high profile enough for the board that is why I can see us trying hard for Zidane although don't want him here personally.Marco Rose please
You sound like a spoilt child, not to mention your unwarranted arrogance ...… If we want Poch, we'll get him. … .
You sound like a spoilt child, not to mention your unwarranted arrogance ...
How many players from Spurs have United wanted in the last 10 years (since after Berbatov)? How many have you got? Zero.
And what's more tragic is that you view Pochettino as some piece of meat, as if the guy himself has no say in the matter and all that counts is what United wants.
Do you think there is a serious chance Pochettino will leave you to come to us mate? You sound like a spoilt child, not to mention your unwarranted arrogance ...

There are a lot more than that over the years. A friend who is an agent highlighted it to me as one of the risks of Simeone a couple of years ago.Who are you referring to? José Giménez and Correa? In 6 years of transfer business and about 30 incomings during that time.
No, not this summer at least.Do you think there is a serious chance Pochettino will leave you to come to us mate?
I like your comments on here, as your posts are fair, but seriously you must be concerned that your manager might leave your club, if not to us then Madrid. The old saying 'there is no smoke without fire' comes to mind here. I expect Man Utd have had positive vibes coming from the Pochettino camp, & his comments at the news conference were pretty vague and non committal. You sound like a spoilt child, not to mention your unwarranted arrogance ...

Fair enough
Think he’d unlock both Andreas and Pogba to their fullest, the only issue with his appointment is we’d desperately need a defender who can make a pass. From what I've read about him seems as if he make a good choice but I don't know if he is high profile enough for the board that is why I can see us trying hard for Zidane although don't want him here personally.
A quote from Poch yesterday:Sections of the press are "sure" he wants to go to United, just like they were "sure" he'd end up at RM last summer.
As for Pochettino himself (yesterday's press conference): "I'm happy here in Tottenham and I have four-and-a-half years left on my contract. I understand you're interested because there are a lot of rumours but look, I'm happy here, trying to give my best to the club."
Well, where the press and media is concerned I'd say that there is very often lots of smoke and no fire: it's in their interest to make mountains out of molehills.I like your comments on here, as your posts are fair, but seriously you must be concerned that your manager might leave your club, if not to us then Madrid.
