Hello all. I never do good at this cause I don’t like having Liverpool players in my team. This week I had two free transfers, I had a choice of either putting in shaw and martial or lovren and Shaqiri. I went with shaw and martial. Not only that, I took out Bernardo silva for martial.

You got to love a trier though
Did something similar. Serves me right for putting United players in. We're too much of an enigma still as a team. Plenty of players out for no reason at times or suddenly having shite games.

Pogba, Son (for 3 games), Hazard if you don't have him. Assuming you don't want any more City players. Can you not do a double transfer to get Salah back in? Only need to trim a little somewhere else.
Yeah no more city players I have sterling and sane, I have this thing where I don't use Utd players :wenger:

So it's either Hazard or Son really..

Hazard all the way then. Easy decision.

Don't know what to do with my team. Quite fancy moving Wilson on but none of the options stand out (particularly for this gw). Troy Deeney probably the likeliest to return something. Actually yeah might go for Deeney and my orginal Auba/Aguero swap plan.

The next 3 games look more favourable for Son than Hazard apart from the game against us. Chelsea play palace away next and they normally struggle there and they have southampton who look good under their new manager.

I finally had a good week (89 points with Ings to play) whilst my rivals all fecked up, so I've finally got a lead back.

Need some important advice.

All my rivals have Kane and I have Aubamayang.

I can upgrade Auba to Kane if I do one of the following:

Alonso to David Luiz
Sane to Pogba

My current team is:

Ederson
Alonso, TAA, Lovren
Sane, Hazard, Salah, Richarlison
Ings, Aubamayang, Jimenez

Subs: Hamer, Wan-Bissaka, Bennett, Musuaku.

Please help a brother out.

I personally like Sane to Pogba from your choices because it removes the Pep rotation headache and Pogba is so important to the way we attack (plus pens). You can deal with Alonso another time. You know the second you remove him he scores, keeps a clean sheet and gets 3 bonus points.

I look at the top 10 in the world, and they all have Salah.

The issue is everyone practically has him so you'd never make up the ground on anyone.

I've been doing quite well lately but I have a feeling I will start dropping positions soon if I don't get Salah + Hazard, but I can't find a way to get them in my XI without changing half squad.

My team is the following at the moment:

Alisson
Robertson, Wan-Bis, Youngy, Davies
Willian, Snodgrass, Sterling, Richarlison
Auba Kane

Bench: Speroni, Doherty, Obiang, Success.

Would really appreciate an advise here :)

Many thanks in advance!

You can get them in quite easily if you ditch Sterling. Or you might want to ditch Auba as Arsenal are away at Liverpool this weekend. Trouble is they have Fulham at home the game after where Auba is the outstanding captain choice with Liverpool playing City.

Got rid of Alonso for Digne, sterling for Pogba, sane for son. Have some money left now. Big switch for Felipe Anderson to either hazard or Salah...

Cheers guys for this!
I've tried to do this and even though I lose 4 points here I see it as positive move.
However, I can't put both, so I will get only one of those 2.
Think I will ditch Wlillian & Sterling for Pogba and I'll think about the other one!

Martial better be playing this weekend! My only sub this week was Son for Sane. That will see me into the new year and can finally use the wildcard soon.
Who to captain this week? Kane? Son? Martial? Hazard

Gonna go Martial. He's either recovered enough to play or not at all surely. I'm sure we'll find out in the Friday presser anyway (and in any training pics).

That said Arsenal can't defend so maybe Salah is a safe choice.

Done Sane and Auba out for Kane and Pogba.

Auba has been good for me but Spurs are bang in form, have an easier set of fixtures and allows me to relax when Spurs are playing now that I have one of their players.

I now have coverage from all of the top 6 bar Arsenal, which I am ok with but feels weird to have Ederson as the only City player.

New team:

Ederson
Alonso, TAA, Lovren
Salah, Richarlison, Pogba, Hazard
Ings, Kane, Jiminez

Subs: Hamer, Wan-Bissaka, Bennett, Musuaku

Yeah it does feel weird having no City but also so good when stuff like yesterday happens. It won't be for long anyway. I'm sure they'll thrash someone soon and everyone will be flocking back to the well. The Liverpool game could be season defining for them.

@Sparky Rhiwabon absolutely nailing his wildcard with TAA, Digne, Salah, Hazard, Son, Pogba & Kane. 97 points with Ings & Fabianski to play and a guaranteed 8 points from AWB to come in for Martial. Damn.
Thanks! I’ve had a pretty indifferent run lately but it never seemed the right time to Wildcard. After OGS took over from Voldemort it seemed to shake things up, so I got stuck in. I knew Martial probably wouldn’t play this one but was happy with AWB sub and hopefully Tony will be fresh for the next few.

Maybe just keep Auba - he’s got Fulham home coming up. Team looks good!

That was my sticking point. BUT their fixtures are:

Aubamayang: Liverpool, Fulham, West Ham, Chelsea
Kane: Wolves, Cardiff, Man United, Fulham

Think over those 4 games, Kane is likely to get more points and I need to block out all those mofos in my league that have him.

Got burnt by loads in my league this week, despite having Kane and Salah.

No Martial was a big blow, and Alonso is tying up too much money now as he's not getting any extras.

Can just about squeeze through my work cup game if Fabianski could keep a 6 pointer tonight (5 points behind with both of us having Anderson), but won't hold my breath there!

In two weeks my team will be this

Fabianski
Robertson TAA Digne Doherty
Hazard Salah Pogba Sane
Auba Jiminez

Hamer WanB Success Kayal

Currently have 3 up top with Rashford but expect him to start getting rotated soon so this should work out nicely.

Digne has certainly bust his way into the mix.
When a defender gets a 17 pointer, you have to sit up.

Is he just a very attacking full back, or is something else going on? Wing back/ playing as a winger etc?

Not having Digne, Son or Kane has killed me over this festive period.

My drunk Christmas night move of bringing in Martial and making him captain backfired massively...

He's attacking in their usual 4-4-2 but Everton changed formation after the Spurs whooping and played with 3 centre backs so he was even further forward as a wing back.

Help? Worth bringing in Son and ignore hazard /Salah another game week? Son & Kane for Auba and Felipe?

He’s attacking, has a good shot on him and he also takes the odd freekick. He has now scored 2 direct free kicks in the last 2 weeks. He was a bargain for me at 4.9m. Everton have a good fixture list too.

I would add another player in your starting 11. And a goalie on the bench.

Transferring in Martial for Felipe Anderson was a great decision...

Kill me.
