Crisper strikes come off his left peg but his right foot is more than serviceable. The pop quiz question is trying to figure out which is his better leg. Been watching him for a while now and I still cant figure it out.
The little two footed shuffle is awesome and RVP had that in his locker.I've seen people say it but I didn't know whether to take it seriously, I can definatley see the RVP comparisons after watching that complilation.
I doubt he'd start for them. The likes of Fulham or Huddersfield could do with him, id love to see him get some proper gametime and how he reacts
I am not sure about that. He took pens with his right leg which usually is an indication of his prefered foot. But this is the genius about the lad.Crisper strikes come off his left peg but his right foot is more than serviceable.
Other than Greenwood who else do you think he was talking about? Chong would make two but whose the third?Solskjaer certainly alludes to him in the press conference today. He specifically mentions the U18s as opposed to the 23s. He said ‘we have 2 or 3 really top talents in the U18 that are coming though.’
Something that can't really be said about RvP to be fair! His finishing is his 2nd best attribute. First being his two footedness.
Ethan Laird maybe?Other than Greenwood who else do you think he was talking about? Chong would make two but whose the third?
I've heard about him, haven't seen him play. How good is he?Ethan Laird maybe?
He's excellent, he's easily the best defender in the academy.I've heard about him, haven't seen him play. How good is he?
Oh wow - what better than Tuanzebe? He's excellent, he's easily the best defender in the academy.
I actually like O'Connor more. He's excellent, he's easily the best defender in the academy.
Oh yeah completely forgot about O'Connor, I still think Laird edges him for me. They're both brilliant though.I actually like O'Connor more.
He seems to dribble with his left foot mainly and contorted himself a bit to score a volley on his left foot earlier in the season when it landed on his right. Other than that it would be almost impossible to tell. He is genuinely superb with both feet. Bobby Charlton like in his two footedness.I am not sure about that. He took pens with his right leg which usually is an indication of his prefered foot. But this is the genius about the lad.
I don't really include Tuanzebe as in the academy anymore as he's out getting first team football at Villa, give the youth a watch when Laird's back from injury and make a judgement, he's excellent.Oh wow - what better than Tuanzebe?
Greenwood, Garner, Laird, Traore etcOther than Greenwood who else do you think he was talking about? Chong would make two but whose the third?
Well, James Garner, first and foremost. There’s little evidence to suggest anyone in our entire academy is more highly thought of than him, considering how many squads he’s been in of late.Other than Greenwood who else do you think he was talking about? Chong would make two but whose the third?
Yeah of course but Tunazebe was highly rated when he was in the academy, now he's playing for villa you can see why he was rated. I'm just wondering if their playing styles are similar.I don't really include Tuanzebe as in the academy anymore as he's out getting first team football at Villa, give the youth a watch when Laird's back from injury and make a judgement, he's excellent.

Sounds like I need to watch the academy more often.Well, James Garner, first and foremost. There’s little evidence to suggest anyone in our entire academy is more highly thought of than him, considering how many squads he’s been in of late.
So I actually counted the goals. He scored 11 on his left and 12 on his right. He is equally comfortable on both sides. If you see his last two goals, it was against the same defender in almost identical position on the field. For the first one, he moved left and easily scored. So for the second, the defender tries to cover his left, so he does a few step overs and scores on his right. Was just about to post. The lad can bang
Is he really that big? They all seem to be of similar size. I don't think it's his physical attributes that make him stand out. Will be interesting to see how he adapt to not being a bit bigger, a bit stronger and a bit faster than most of the defenders he is up against.
They aren't, Laird is an all action full back, he's up and down the pitch all the time, contributing plenty to attack and doing a very reliable job defending. Whereas Tuanzebe is a CB.Yeah of course but Tunazebe was highly rated when he was in the academy, now he's playing for villa you can see why he was rated. Indeed! Although his superb technique and skill levels will see him shine imo! The step up was too much for James Wilson for instance because he relied on being faster than the other U18's far more than Mason does! Will be interesting to see how he adapt to not being a bit bigger, a bit stronger and a bit faster than most of the defenders he is up against.
Oh I see, I thought he was a CBThey aren't, Laird is an all action full back, he's up and down the pitch all the time, contributing plenty to attack and doing a very reliable job defending. Whereas Tuanzebe is a CB.
I think he is a complete striker at this level. He is not that big, but I would guess he is above average at U18. And he looks stronger than most. And faster. That is a good thing, because if he works hard he probably will be in a few years time too.Is he really that big? They all seem to be of similar size. I don't think it's his physical attributes that make him stand out.
I don't know. Huddersfield haven't had a striker score a goal since the dawn of colour television so they might take a punt.I doubt he'd start for them.
