I've seen people say it but I didn't know whether to take it seriously, I can definatley see the RVP comparisons after watching that complilation.

The little two footed shuffle is awesome and RVP had that in his locker.

He should be in our squad from next season. He's 17 now and some of the best talents in the world started playing regularly from the age of 18. We can use him in the cup games and slowly integrate him into the team.

The thing I love best about him is that he can score from both feet with equal ease. It's very hard for defenders against such players. They wouldn't know which side to cover when he is running at them.

There's no chance of this lad going on loan imo. He'll be carefully nurtured within the club. He'll soon start getting cameos which will increase in regularity as he gets stronger. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a first team regular by this time next year.

What I notice away is the contrast in goal instinct between Rashford and Greenwood. You can tell one is more comfortable towards a goal than the other.

For reference, at the same age Rashford didn't hit double figures in goals until a little past the mid point of the season. Both started off as attacking midfielders, but Greenwood clearly took to finishing much quicker than Rashford. Though to be fair to Rashford, he started doing much better the next season which is the season he made his debut.

I doubt he'd start for them.

I am not sure about that. He took pens with his right leg which usually is an indication of his prefered foot. But this is the genius about the lad.

He seems to dribble with his left foot mainly and contorted himself a bit to score a volley on his left foot earlier in the season when it landed on his right. Other than that it would be almost impossible to tell. He is genuinely superb with both feet. Bobby Charlton like in his two footedness.

So I actually counted the goals. He scored 11 on his left and 12 on his right. He is equally comfortable on both sides. If you see his last two goals, it was against the same defender in almost identical position on the field. For the first one, he moved left and easily scored. So for the second, the defender tries to cover his left, so he does a few step overs and scores on his right.

This guy is a natural goal scorer. And the best part is that he is not just a poacher. He has decent pace, dribbling and technique. We have a gem in our hands.

Indeed! Although his superb technique and skill levels will see him shine imo! The step up was too much for James Wilson for instance because he relied on being faster than the other U18's far more than Mason does!

I think he is a complete striker at this level. He is not that big, but I would guess he is above average at U18. And he looks stronger than most. And faster. That is a good thing, because if he works hard he probably will be in a few years time too.

But I do think it remains a challenge (like it is for almost evey young player) when he eventually steps up. He will meet grown men that is bigger, stronger and maybe even faster than him - for now. How does he adapt his play? And will it make him determind to work hard? Hopefully. But I think most will agree that he can not play like this against most senior teams.

At this level he almost looks like a faster and slicker version of a Kane/RvP-hybrid.

Maybe for now the best thing we could hope for would be a player similar to our new manager? A lethal player, keeping it simple. And he can of course develop into so much more in time.

I don't know. Huddersfield haven't had a striker score a goal since the dawn of colour television so they might take a punt.

On the other hand, such poor form from their supposed goalscorers suggests the service might be more hindrance than help to the lad.

Very encouraging to hear Ole's comments! Reading between the lines, it seems fatigue and maybe injury are the only reasons he's not debuted so far!
