and I can see why the penalty didn't get given
stonewall with a bit of VAR on the case, though

They are 5 points clear. No tears yet!The resident dippers are being uncharacteristically pragmatic and it's annoying as hell.
We want tears, salty scouse ones, and we want them now.
It's coming apart at the seams, I can sense it in my testicles. They are 5 points clear. No tears yet!
You think we are going to cry if we fail to win the title? Klopp has improved us in every aspect, this team doesn’t need as many additions as in previous years where it felt like we needed 5+ players just to compete for a title. The current side is nearly the finished article. I think most fans know this side is geared to challenge for the title every season now.The resident dippers are being uncharacteristically pragmatic and it's annoying as hell.

I don’t have a clue what kind of midfielder he’s supposed to be. His inclusion upset the balance tonight.Keita - what a waste of £.
Arsenal didn't have a shot on target at home versus Cardiff yesterday until the 65th minute - And that was a penalty. In this City state any big game is hard.
I don’t think that’s anything to do with Liverpool. You should get that checked buddy. It's coming apart at the seams, I can sense it in my testicles.
They know it, too, but trying to save face.
We're talking about a team who had just lost to Newcastle. You never know with the current City tbh. They're pretty shaky and bound to fecking up. They aren't City of last season.Arsenal didn't have a shot on target at home versus Cardiff yesterday until the 65th minute - And that was a penalty.
Its -20 but with the wind chill its feels like -34. I could barely be outside at any point today.Buddy I’m in Toronto! Freezing haha
True, but Arsenal away from home against top opposition has always been the best source of AFTV highlights, so I still expect them to win. They'll drop points at some point, but versus Arsenal? The only surprise for me would be if they don't win by 2+ goals. We're talking about a team who had just lost to Newcastle. You never know with the current City tbh. Sorry I tuned out. Were you talking about Arsenal or Newcastle? It's grim when you rely on the king bottlers Arsenal to need a result. I would lower your expectations for them getting a result at City. Their defense is a shambles and they are natural bottlers.
The one thing I know for sure is that the Premier League is relatively unpredictable. May worth be placing a sneaky punt on Arse getting a draw.Sorry I tuned out. Were you talking about Arsenal or Newcastle?
I'm being facetious of course. I already predicted the highest number of goals conceded this season once Sokaratis got injured. But you never know when there's something to fight for.
Sorry what??So city get beat by palace and Leicester and we take 4 points off them. Nice, and extend the lead to 5 points.
Silver linings. I'll take that.
Yup,I don't see them winning all 3 of those.City have 3 hard games coming up, Arsenal, Everton and Chelsea. If Liverpool won today it would have been done and dusted, but still pretty hard for City tbh with this kind of inconsistency.
Yeah, Arsenal can't park the bus even when all the defenders are fit. A city win, maybe even a thrashing.Arsenal will lose. You give City space that too against a makeshift defence, they will tear you apart .
A hammering of their GD will do nicelyYeah, Arsenal can't park the bus even when all the defenders are fit. A city win, maybe even a thrashing.
Sorry Pal. In Vancouver. Just got back from golfBuddy I’m in Toronto! Freezing haha

Agh. What did he say this time?its always an excuse with Klopp isnt it?
Blamed the snow.Agh. What did he say this time?
I 100% agree with this, the teamGetting in Allison was crucial but that doesn't explain the change in approach we've had this season. We sacrificed the gung-ho football for a more controlled approach. Because of Klopp's renowned attacking approach, I don't feel the defensive side he's brought this season has been appreciated. Instead it's been written off as luck or us not clicking going forward like we did last season. Obviously this has lessened as the season has gone on this, but the changes Klopp has made have been impressive, especially off the back of losing his trusted assistant Buvac who was considered (least of all by Klopp himself) to be the 'brains' of the set-up. The big signings have definitely given us the platform to be able to rely on our defence as much as our attack for sure though.
Yes, of course. You think we are going to cry if we fail to win the title?
Nervous I think. And its only January. Whats it going to be like in April and May?Is it just me or was their stadium subdued for most of the game? I
Yep. Not sure why anyone pays attention. If you all take your tinted specs off for a moment you'll realise that this is what Ferguson did time and time again with United. Absolved his players of blame in the media and then gave them a bollocking in the changing rooms.
