Viva!
Almost with a 2nd just before HT
without Bonucci and Chiellini it is not a surpriseJuventus doesn’t convince me, I think their defense is worse than Real’s
SIIIIIIII
The man just scored two goals and has his first year in a new league. Bloody hellI just saw that he's yet to score a hat-trick in Juve colors, are Allegri's tactic restricting him or is he declining a bit?
I think expecting a player who will make 34 this month to be at the same level as he was 5 years ago isn't expected.I just saw that he's yet to score a hat-trick in Juve colors, are Allegri's tactic restricting him or is he declining a bit?

Juve play like Mourinho's game plan gone right.I think expecting a player who will make 34 this month to be at the same level as he was 5 years ago isn't expected.
Answering your question about Allegri. The only thing I can say to you is that I gave up watching Juventus.
At best will only watch highlights. If I want to see good football on Serie A I think Napoli, Sampdoria or Atalanta are more fun to watch. Depends on your taste.
It was a genuine question, he hasn't been putting up same numbers by his absurdly high standards so I asked if it's physical or tactical with him.The man just scored two goals and has his first year in a new league. Bloody hell
He was scoring like crazy in early 2018, I think his returns have been more modest at Juve. I'm just intrigued if Allegri's tactics are in anyway restricting him because even under the most defensive managers he was scoring ton of goals in the past.I think expecting a player who will make 34 this month to be at the same level as he was 5 years ago isn't expected.

I thought buying a player of Ronaldo's quality would mean he'd be open to a more attacking game, I guess not.Juve aren't an attacking team and Allegri isn't an attacking manager.
I decided to stop watching full matches of them since last week when they playing shit somehow won at Lazio. Highlights are ok for me with them.Juve play like Mourinho's game plan gone right.
Hardly. Allegri is using him to add more cutting edge but they're not going to change their style. If he ends scoring 35, it'll be magnificent even if it's less than his previous seasons, but due to Juve.I thought buying a player of Ronaldo's quality would mean he'd be open to a more attacking game, I guess not.
Only to add while I think their midfield is good enough for Serie A, I don't think they have enough quality to win the Champions League. As a matter of fact I think Atletico will beat them.He was scoring like crazy in early 2018, I think his returns have been more modest at Juve. Atletico are hardly brimming with quality in midfield themselves, it'll be a very tactical match but if Juve crash out in first KO stage then it is a disaster. Many of their players are in the latter stages of their career, with every passing year chances of winning CL lessens.Only to add while I think their midfield is good enough for Serie A, I don't think they have enough quality to win the Champions League. He is on 19 at the moment, so it'll be interesting if his scoring rate goes up in 2nd half of the season. A lot will depend on their run in CL I guess.Hardly. It's the 2nd of February and Juventus haven't scored 4 goals in a game one single time this season. Pretty sure you can look through the top half of the table in any league and you'll strugle to find a team with a similar record at this stage of the season. Once they grab a lead they tend to slow down and play defensively.I just saw that he's yet to score a hat-trick in Juve colors, are Allegri's tactic restricting him or is he declining a bit?

Agreed. Early days but it's obvious that there is something really special in this Mandzukic partnership too.Benzema Ronaldo was staggeringly good.

We don't have to imagine. We have seen it - that Madrid team of a few years ago, with Benzema and Ronaldo!Rooney + Ronaldo + counter attack. Can you imagine a scarier atta k
I think its abit of everything. Juventus approach in the game is restrictive and very different from Real, and Ronaldo is also turning 34 and in a new league which is renowned for its defensive tactic/approach. Bear in mind he has to handle completely new environment, new teammates, new football style, ageing issues and all that, but he is still scoring alot of goals (Serie A top scorer at the moment with 17 goals). Yes he scoring ratio has drop bit from his usual high standard (1 goals per game in average), but his overall game has actually improved too.I just saw that he's yet to score a hat-trick in Juve colors, are Allegri's tactic restricting him or is he declining a bit?
