Because our attacking gameplay will improve. They may interchange flanks easily as well.

Anyhow, for almost any attacking superstar 17 is almost late to make a debut - as such, starting Greenwood in a game of this importance may show a lot.

Besides, element of surprise here - nobody knows how he plays, PSG defence including. We don’t have much to lose to not take any risks tonight - it’s not starting an inexperienced defender what usually costs goals
If it will improve, why haven't we played him in any other matches ?

Arguing that it's good because it's an element of surprise is a bit daft tbh, it's not like we're going to a village in the amazon and show them electricity for the first time.

A game with an eye to the future. It's a real shame we conceded that second goal but who knows? Maybe we'll get a decent ref in Europe for once. I doubt it but it's better to accept we're out and then look to give a good account of ourselves. When and if we do that, we have a chance. We need everything to go our way of course but a great opportunity for some and it may be too soon for them - but we'll see. We still have to defend properly. Something we didn't do in the first leg.

He was injured for a few weeks lately, maybe this is why. Also understandably Ole had to provide team’s highest earner chances to prove his wage.

Never felt so excited about a game where we are expected to lose.

but remembering similar , certainly in the domestic league ,where we have been able to magic a result.

I'm sure the lads will do United proud regardless of the outcome.

Same. At least we'll have a plan.

He's been injured and only turned 17 in October.

Expecting him to do much tonight against a team this good is probably being optimistic but I genuinely think he'd offer more than Sanchez would have. He's extremely well rounded for his age and so two footed he's very hard to predict. I think he'll make the step up to senior football without much fuss. That's no something I say very often about young players.

    Correct!
We came back from 2-0 down under Moyes against Olympiakos (RVP Hattrick). It's just that its never been done when you've lost your home leg.
Although Juventus got really close last year to overturn a three-goal lead away from home.

What is a better opportunity to make a senior debut for an attacker than away from home versus Tiago Silva and Marquinos, in a game where we need to score several?

So much pressure from us to get the first goal from Ole but it doesn’t make a huge difference if they get one as we still need three to win.

Or win 2-0 in the 90 and take it to extra time, first goal is more about momentum

Cold light of day, we need to score at least 3 goals at Le PdP to have any chance. Can we do it? Don't know. So long as we don't get hammered and score at least 1 goal, I'll be happy though.

Why no one believes in a clean sheet? Score two, concede zero, win on penalties )

I hope we don't concede early, it would kill the game off and my excitement would dissipate...unless we scored quickly after.

While it would hurt us it doesn't change the game plan much really, we still need 3 goals.

If Ole even gets a win on the night today he should be announced as the new permanent manager tonight.

The fact we even give the team a slight chance with a depleted squad is testament to his performance so far.

    Paris Saint-Germain team
Starting XI: Buffon, Silva, Kempembe, Kehrer, Bernat, Marquinhos, Verratti, Di Maria, Alves, Draxler, Mbappe
Subs: Areola, Paredes, Cavani, Meunier, Choupo-Moting, Kurzawa, Dagba

    Manchester United team
Starting XI: De Gea, Young (c), Bailly, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw, McTominay, Andreas, Fred, Rashford, Lukaku
Subs: Romero, Dalot, Rojo, Garner, Gomes, Chong, Greenwood

Two changes from the victory against Southampton with Bailly and Fred coming in for Alexis and Pogba.
