Spurs v Ajax
Juve v Barce
City v Liverpool
Liverpool to knock City out and then get took apart by Barcelona in the next round.
Very much like that.

If we are talking about the favorites, it would be Barca, Juve and City. And you have a point. None of the English teams, including Spurs, will be intimidated by City, though when on form, they can arguably be called better than Juve or even Barca in their free scoring style. We have played them in the league, so it will have a big match feeling without the intimidation factor of Juve with Ronaldo, or the atmosphere of Camp Nou.Personally think I'd want us to face an English side. We'll play with more confidence than against the other European teams. In possession our boys completely shat the bed against PSG, the way they don't against English teams.
Ah, come on mate There lots more United fans who’re saying they’d be very happy to get Spurs. I just think, with your current form and us knowing you well, we’d have a very good chance to progress. Never mind that you’ve never made it past a QF as well... Didn’t say it would be a walk in the park though!Hope we get Liverpool now. All these cocky Liverpool fans hoping they get us is too much.
Praise jah no. It has a stench of inevitability about it, though.Prediction:
United - Juve
City - Ajax
Spurs - Liverpool
Barca - Porto
Said the fish finger to the sea bass.Hope we get Liverpool now. All these cocky Liverpool fans hoping they get us is too much.
You wanna go through this again?Said the fish finger to the sea bass.
Calm down Captain Birdseye - I didn't mention Ajax. You wanna go through this again?
My view is simple: Ajax are an Eredivisie team not winning the Eredivisie. The Premier League has shown itself to be comfortably the world's strongest right now, and we are third in that league.
Ajax would not be an easy tie, but any team playing in the Portuguese/Eredivisie is very likely to be weaker than teams playing in the top tier leagues, where all the money is at.
I get that you think Ajax are better because history, heritage, all that jazz. That's fine.
What are you referring to then? Why would being a Spurs fan make me cocky, mystic meg?Calm down Captain Birdseye - I didn't mention Ajax.
I simply shared an observation in response to a Spurs fan calling a Liverpool fan cocky.
I was referring to the post I quoted. It's not complicated. What are you referring to then? Why would being a Spurs fan make me cocky, mystic meg?
We're generally a pretty downbeat bunch, Glaston aside. Years in the wilderness will do that to you.
The post you quoted was just me calling somebody else cocky and then you talking shit about fish again.I was referring to the post I quoted. It's not complicated.
Good joke. Very witty. The post you quoted was just me calling somebody else cocky and then you talking shit about fish again.
Why would it be hypocritical of me to call somebody else cocky because I'm a Spurs fan is what I'm clearly asking.
It's not complicated, ghost whisperer.
Because I don't think we'd be easy for them, not because we'd sweep them aside.Good joke. Very witty.
I'm not sure if you ever fully understood the fish finger metaphor but a Spurs fan wishing to be drawn against a superior Liverpool side because their fans are "cocky" couldn't sum it up any more perfectly.
Well, it could be good if we have to play home first at the same time as them ...Tweet

FFS.
Yep. But if we both get drawn away, then that would mean we will end up playing the 1st leg at home, which is a mild disadvantage. Mind you, out of the 8 quarter finalists, 4 had played at home first in the previous round, so maybe its not something that really matters much these days.Well, it could be good if we have to play home first at the same time as them ...
We'll bladder the Spuds. Please let us have Porto, or Ajax. Would like to see Liverpool v Spurs, reckon that'd be a frantic, tough battle and might hurt both sides league form.
So it makes no difference whatsoever. Still a 50% chance of being at home in the second leg. It's just the process to get there is different.Yep. Edit: Such bets are available I see on Paddy Power, 6/1 is the oddsI don't know who we are going to get but if I could bet on Liverpool getting Porto or Ajax I would.
Everyone and Mourinho knows that City will get Porto or AjaxIf City get Porto or Ajax I'm gonna scream. Absolute stat padders.
The odds are very high even without their influences. I'd like to know what the odds of each PL team not drawing another are. Of course they change after the draw starts. At least one tie will be all English. UEFA will make certain of that.
