All three behind Lukaku having dreadful games
Fred isnt a DM. McTominay isnt a DM. Both box to box. Instructing them to stay deep is a choice not a must.Get rid of a CB for a more offensive option. Or if you wanna play that back 5 take out one of Fred or McTominay in favour of a more creative player like Mata, Andreas or Lingard (swapping someone else to RWB in that instance).
We don't need 3 CBs plus 2 DMs against West Ham at home. Unless, as I said earlier, you're instructing the wingbacks to actually operate as wingers. But then in that case you need a plan to stop them getting dragged into fullback positions by West Ham's wide men.
Yay a pelanty
Literally no one took a step into open space for him to pass. Neither Martial, nor Rojo. They both stood behind opponentsWtf is Pogba doing?
If the pass wasn’t that fast there’s a good chance it wouldn’t have reached him. For these lads that was a pretty run-of-the-mill pass, IMO.it was quick so given it was directly at him, he didn't have time to adjust his footing
Yeah, I was thinking the same. Are the West Ham fans singing "Your City is Blue"?
The bare faced cheek. Their city is about 4 different colours before it is Claret & Blue!
Yea but it's not an anomalyMata to Martial ?
Movement and umm movement and some more movementHow can anyone actually defend Jesse Lingard anymore without being a complete fool?
Jokes on them, they’re the ones named after a geographical meat. Are the West Ham fans singing "Your City is Blue"?

This. He needs runners and movement to be effective with his passing range.Literally no one took a step into open space for him to pass. Neither Martial, nor Rojo. They both stood behind opponents
And Pogba. Others all over the placeFred & Lukaku.
Not too shabby so far.
I completely agree. It kills momentumYea but it's not an anomaly
It’s a state of being for a couple of them.
I don't think he was even looking to pass. He was going to run into 3 WH players and do a bit of showboating whatever.Literally no one took a step into open space for him to pass. Neither Martial, nor Rojo. They both stood behind opponents
Martial I'm his biggest fan. But he's holding the ball for too damn long.Fred is very good. Keeping it simple and through balls. After a long time I am seeing a Man Utd player unlocking midfield with simple through passes.
Lingard is championship player. No ball control whatsoever.
And, Mata cannot play for a club like Man Utd. Apart from his contribution for penalty he has done nothing. Fred is outshining him clearly. He needs to go and let McT play behind Fred.
