I think Ajax fans are saying the exact same thing about Spurs at this very moment

......and Son is suspended for the first leg. ;)
I don’t hear that sentiment over here, even thought it would be understandable to prefer playing Spurs without Kane & Son over playing City. The sentiment over here is that it’s great that a team with so many former Ajax-players is the opponent in the CL semis.

Is there a site where I can watch highlights of the City/Spurs match?

Everyone knew it came off his arm (first), no-one was disputing it in the studio. Maybe cross purposes but he put a lot more emphasis on the hand/arm when it was clear Lineker was talking about whether it was a goal or not ..... and even then, Rio still said handball. Odd.
It seemed to me that the ref that spoke to the studio pretended there was no arm involved at all, as did Hoddle. Did think it was strange that Rio thought it was some sort of significant interference, but I felt he had a point about the arm skin thing, to be fair to him.

I'll post this again: "When they do the brief burst of CL music before the ad breaks start and end on TV, I swear it sounds just like the chorus is singing "Vertonghen". Check it out. "

If we make it past Ajax and into the final I'll start to believe this is an omen - with Super Jan to score the winner and doing his trademark, hands-pulling-back-across-his-chest, Super Man costume reveal!

I still don't trust Spurs to win the whole thing. Ajax will like their chances against them.

Barça will need a Messi masterclass to put Liverpool away and even then Mane and Salah are in fantastic form.

Both games should be very offensive with plenty of chances for the four sides.

Yes true I think Pool will go through but it honesty staggering how many people underrate Barca on here. Pool have had plenty of moments where they look lacklustre themselves.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

And Barca can probably rest some players given lead in league and some of the games they've got to play. Liverpool might have an easy (ish) run in but I don't think they can gamble with team selection too much.

I don't think it's underrating Barça, but this Liverpool is probably their best team since 2008/09. I feel like Barça hasn't properly replaced Xavi and Neymar.

Arthur looks like the perfect Iniesta replacement but I do feel like Liverpool has more offensive options.

Barca will go through narrowly against Liverpool in a fiercely contested tie then beat whoever they play in the final emphatically. Liverpool are more than a match for the Spanish side but they’ll be distracted by their league race which will prove crucial.

If the Barca match has been confirmed for the Tuesday, the Newcastle match will move to 1230 on Saturday 4 May
Will Uefa not take league fixtures already arranged into consideration, before deciding the semi final dates?
Barca playing Saturday 4th at 1945, Liverpool playing Sunday 5th at 1630.
Surely the second leg will therefore be on Wednesday 8th May?

I would expect such celebrations against Everton in a normal league game
Zero passion. Its all just a foregone conclusion for them now.

Turned off after Sterlings winner and went to bed didn't I? Woke up to the good news. Always believe in VAR.

Come on now. Not even close.
It kinda is close. They scored that goal in the 3rd minute of five minutes of extra time. Even if it had stood, Spurs would have had time to launch at least one more desperate attack. And yet you turned it off.

No, they dont care about domestic fixtures. I'm sure Sky have said that the Newcastle match will be moved if it needs to be so we'll wait and see

So, I'm just guessing here, but I suppose due to recent eventful events, I don't need to respond to the people proclaiming Current-ManC-is-way-more-amazing-than-it-used-to-be-and-so-City-will-steamroll-Ajax-next-round-easy-pass-style anymore? :p
