Stop blaming the damn manager. 4 managers post SAF and we're still blaming the feck out of them all.

It's the fecking players. They're a disgrace to this club. Fecking spineless cowards.

We can hire as many managers as we can and we'll still be shite.

Someone please tell me what he has actually changed on the pitch since Mourinho left?

It looks like Mourinho is still here but even worse.

He sits there smiling whilst changing nothing in game.

We're going to be left with an incompetent manager who our incompetent owners will struggle to get rid of because our fans want to believe in this romantic notion of him turning into the next Zidane.

I don't need to see any more. He's completely out of his depth. No amount of pretty words will cover that up.

Cliches like the United way etc in the post match press incoming in 3...2...1...

This may well turn out to be the case. However, he will not be sacked.

All we can do is carry through the restructuring required to make us less dependent on the manager. If we have a DOF structure that can direct recruitment in a direction the club wants that will be consistent regardless of who the manager is, then suddenly appointing the wrong manager becomes less damaging.

At least then if Solskjaer does prove to be a mistake we won't have completely wasted yet more years.

I haven't a clue of what we should do. Ideally Ole makes all the right moves this summer and we have a good seaso next year. But is Ole a top manager in the making ? Haven't a clue.

Just want us to become a team again. Enough of this disjoint football. If it takes selling Pogba and 9 others so be it. If it takes getting a new manager so be it.

We need excellence. Enough of focusing on short term /jammy results. Hope Ole does some cracking business in the summer and shows that he tactically got a lot in his bag. Otherwise we're pretty fecked for next season too.

Real Madrid and Lopetegui, for example. Benitez is another example: he hasn't lasted long at either Madrid or Inter.

But we shouldn't sack Ole because it doesn't matter. We're just always going to be shit, no matter what.
Well, if it’s a case of ‘no matter what,’ then we may as well let him get on with it. We’ll be competing for the EL anyway

I think Ole come in and wanted to change the team. He wanted higher pressing, faster transitions and pressing. All the best managers do.

But remember the game against Liverpool? Three first half injuries. Herrera is still out now. Lingard and Sanchez still aren’t properly back.

I’m thinking that the fitness of the squad and the player type wasn’t good enough. We know that Young isn’t great. I was desperate for him to come on today after that first half.

A few canny signings change this side. We haven’t made a good one in years.

I'd give Ole this summer to make a big rebuild before judging him. Sure I don't agree with some of his selection choices but the problem with the club goes far beyond that. It's not his team, so I can't judge him as yet.

The biggest error was having no plan to make January changes. The squad is horrendous and Ole's bright start papered over that.
Unfair criticism. He wasn't the permanent manager then. He was never going to be allowed to start a rebuild job before then.

Yes it was a mistake, we fell into the trap that countless teams have of giving the job to a caretaker manager after some short term success before we could see if the can maintain it.

Looking back that run Ole went on is probably the worse thing that could of happened.

Only thing that will save any current/ future United manager is getting rid of these clowns. If Ole doesn't do a summer clear out then He'll face the same fate as our previous managers and the cycle will continue.

By looking at todays match it looked like Everton Players had a chance of playing in the CL next season. The sheer lack of fight in these lot is just a joke. It was the same under LVG and Jose.

We need to clear out and we need it now. If Ole doesn't have the balls to do that then he is bound to fail.

Wrong timing when all They (the board) needed to do was to shut up and do feck all till the end of season.

We'd be able to assess things better by the end of season. Ole's performance, Poch, or maybe other candidates. And to see how many players We need to sell/buy.

You don't think anyone could have done better than 6 losses in 8, soon to be 7 in 9?
This!
Shown up twice by the Wolves coach and now the guy who most Everton fans wanted out!

Seems like the Portuguese are single handedly killing our club:lol:

The knee-jerk of appointing him after the fluke result in Paris was an obvious mistake, but fans and board both seemed to be caught up in the moment. We needed a tactical overhaul, and till that point (and especially since) he hasn't really shown it.
Too late now.

It really wasn’t a mistake. This recent dip aside, I can’t see any other manager doing better than what Ole has this year. We were well off the 4th spot when he arrived and would likely still be where we were if not for him. We should be backing him 100% going forward - new players, new ethos.

How fast people turn there back...

Still 100% behind Ole, the club has an infestation of bad attitude players and then others with limited ability. He can't fix that overnight, time will tell if he can in time.

Martial, Pogba, Lukaku, De Gea, Sanchez & Matic can all go and we should cash in. We'll be left depleted but we can start again and build without negativity around the place.

Not really no. Ole’s been hindered with the run of fixtures and the squad he’s inherited.
The same squad that amassed 82 points just 12 months ago? That have beaten Liverpool and Manchester City - the two best teams in the country and probably two of the best on the planet.

No, that is not the answer.

The reason I feel Ole is the right man, is because Ole knows what the true traditions and nature of the club are. That is the difference between him and Mourinho, Moyes and LVG.

Doesn't really matter that much since the end result is the same. 6th place and knocked out of all competitions. We want someone that can take us forward and is he really the one to do that?

Neville’s rant here is one of the concerns. Don’t sack him because he loves him to bits.

An emotional choice, and I think that poses problems if this goes on much longer.

I swear that some of you get amnesia every time we appoint a new manager.

You'd think that after watching fecking groundhog day for 6 years people would come up with some different solutions to the one we've tried three times already.

Whilst we need a mega clear out, I fear that the quality that’ll we’ll be able to bring in in the summer won’t be anywhere near that that we need to challenge for trophies next season. Who would want to come to us whilst playing in the europa league and managed by a bloke who is in danger of being amongst the first to be sacked next season?

We haven't made a good decision since buying Van Persie.

Woodward needs to be sacked.

Not intended as a criticism of Ole. Between the club and the temporary manager they needed to start the overhaul.

Appoint any manager in the world and we have the same problems of awful control at board level and lazy, poor players not being good enough.

Imagine appointing Ole, a manger that relegated Cardiff and had some success in the mighty Norwegian league over somebody like Poch.

Just another laughable decision by Sir Ed Woodward and his cronies. Hopefully everyone can swallow their pride and walk away.
That’s if you believe Poch was in reach.

He wasn’t, and signed a long term contract just to feck us off.

Couple of years from now,who knows?

This!

He gave us a lot to cheer about, and I think the current capitulation has the look of a tired squad that played above themselves to restore some pride, but now looks to be mentally weak and lacking in ability. Solskjaer will now look to build his own team in the summer. And if the board doesn't back him, it'll lead to demonstrations against how the club is run.
