Here, there, everywhere...
The biggest worry is how our style of play has regressed. Ole should have been able to develop our identity and impose his his vision in half a season. Even when Klopp and Pep were failing it was easy to see what they were planning to achieve. With us I have no clue what is Ole is trying to do. The passing has been shambolic and we have resorted to the same hoofball as under Jose. The worst part is that our biggest weapon with this style of play was let go off in January. So, we can't even do that right now.

Very disappointing.

I think people can stop fretting about beating City on Wednesday now. My concern is we’ll smash the Premier League record for heaviest defeat.

Unbelievable response from our players today. Absolutely shocking and pathetic on every level.

Can we just reload the save from when Fergie retired and try again? It's quite incredible how many wrong decisions have been made and how it's effected the whole culture of the club, we really do need to start from scratch in so many ways.

Welcome Europa League . No comments for the match since it will only be full of expletives . This is the most gutless and coward team ever .

Well hey, we lost away to the team one place below us. Surely that can't be such a big deal, right? Right...?

Well stop blaming just the players, for feck sakes. Literally the entire club is rotten to the core. The board, the owners, Woodward, the managers, the players. Everyone has contributed to our downfall.
yep. Many people looking for a silver bullet thiking its just players, or just manager. Top to bottom our club is buggered, starting from the top.

We have zero strategy which has caused this disaster. The crisis will deepen mark my words.

Let's hope we see the Baby Faced Assassin get as ruthless with the squad as he did in front of goal and that he is actually allowed to do so.
Waaaaaaay too many average/below average players sucking on the United tit and a fair few also taking the Michael.
Bad luck and mistakes influenced the score line against Barca in both legs but it doesn't cover up the fact that MAJOR surgery is needed to get us back on the right track.
Ole is the man for me, he gets United, is one of us and knows what it takes to be a United player.......over to the lot upstairs, get your freakin' fingers out!

I posted this after the Barca game and here we are after a capitulation against an average Everton team and I believe this even more. Too many players either simply not good enough for United or think they're too good for us and way too many not bothered enough to put in a proper display.
G Nev just said it on Sky......rancid.

What can you expect if OGS keeps playing Jones at CB, Lindelof on the right, Pogba deep, Martial out of form?

Taking Matic off was a no-brainer, as well as subbing off Martial in favor of 4th midfielder. But it hasn’t been done

what are the chances of Olly ripping them a new one in the changing room? I hope he is, but have a feeling he has to cautious so we don't piss off our revenue makers.

Where's the DOF?
No leaders, not enough players that care. Nothing new. We are becoming a case study for how not to do it. The Glazers’ golden goose is dying.

I blamed Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho.

It’s the players and has been all along.
I blame the club.

Moyes was simply not good enough.

LVG and Mourinho tried to shape a team in their image, those being two entirely contradictory images (and you could make the argument the game passed both by). No continuity, no consistency, no direction. We have a playing squad of SAF’s leftovers, and three incompatible styles now trying to play a fourth style, implemented by a pretty inexperienced manager. No director of football and a club run by people who care more about Manchester United the brand than the team.

(Not helped by Jose being completely toxic an individual.)

We could still turn things around though. A top manager and 2-3 top players could turn it around. Don't see us getting that though. Agree that we need a much better structure and plan to improve our football.

I wouldn’t bother going to Old Trafford for the rest of the season that’s for sure. Loads of stuff I’d rather do than pay to watch this bunch of millionaires put in less effort than someone working in Tesco.

As long as the player power is bigger than the fear (respect) for the managers no manager can fix us.

Any sort of plan wont gonna work if the players arent being arsed. You think these bunch of lazy feckers would flourish under klopp or pep system you're having a laugh

Everton ran 8km more.. thats just effort, plain and simple. Im still on board with ole, he got us what 10 wins out of 12?
3 managers in 5 years and now we've got a squad that doesnt fit at all , gut it out.
Criminal. 8km more as a team.

Weak. Players disappearing all over the pitch. Frightening how bad the passing is and absolutely nothing creative. If Pogba does make a pass, the front line don't do anything with it. No wide play so no threat. Martial and Rashford are not wingers. Matic has come back from injury even slower but Fred gets taken off. Martial does nothing but Rashford gets taken off. I understood the Young for Jones change but why not switch Dalot to a side he's more comfortable on when Young has played many times at left-back. Worried about Ole and his tactics now but the players need to shoulder a huge portion of blame for that.

Funny how looking at our fixtures I thought Fulham was going to be our only win. When we are playing like today we would give anyone a game apart from City and Pool.

Worrying times for you however.

The best thing that these players can do for us. Hand in transfer requests and make room for the youth. Ole and the fans might have to accept mediocrity for the next few years but get rid of this load of wnkers. No reaction to their situation. No heart no professional pride, nothing just utter dross. Embarassing

We played like it was the last game of the season and there was nothing left to play for. The lack of effort and drive is what particularly worries me. Even taking into account the bounce from a new manager, I don't understand how we've gone from being so good to what I saw today.

I hope the managerial team now are locked in a room deciding which of those feckers is getting dropped for an academy player on Wednesday.

Like Tony Pulis was in charge today. Long ball over the top was our tactic.

We actually need to get rid of most of the team. Hope we are a clear out even greater than 2014 and not bring in flops this time.

Which top manager? the Hierarchy no nothing about strategizing appointments and strategic player acquisitions. 3 players? The club is a mess and the only thing planned is for Ole to perform a miracle.

I don't think there is one first team player whose future at this club should be secure. There are a good number who seem to not care one jot.

The problem with Neville's rants where he invariably defends the managers (and it's far too early to judge Ole so it's not even worth talking about, he needs at least a summer to have a chance to build his own squad) is Neville has over the years defended Utd giving new contracts to a number of the players that have led to this mediocrity and he's effectively saying aren't good enough.
I think he is always so quick to side with managers because of the train wreck that happened with him and Valencia so he doesn’t want to dish out what people were giving to him

Can someone tell me what exactly Lukaku did or offered in that game? Did he even touch the ball? And by touch I mean control the ball and pass it, not let it hit him and bounce off him to the opposition

I agree, though I don't believe Moyes, VG & Mourinho were the right managers for us, but the basic problem lies with the players, they simply don't work hard enough, every team we play out runs and out works us and our players don't seem to care; I hope Ole is given the go ahead to get rid of every single player who took part in todays debacle; Gary Neville said it was a "rancid" performance and hes right. We need to completely rebuild and cut out the dead wood which frankly means getting rid of most of our entire squad.

He has to be thinking he's wasting his prime years here. He has to be.
Definitely agree on this. I can see him leaving. I don’t blame him really, his supporting cast is dreadful and I don’t think he’ll want to be part of a rebuilding period unless we somehow manage to get star quality players this summer which is highly unlikely so definitely we should cash on him now.
