Cantona to RVP there are many example of this. But I dont want to compare this team with SAF because every manager after SAF will never be good enough because he is the greatest manager to ever mange a football team. so let's not compare at all!

Ok, agree some games pogba doesn't put in effort. But who does? tell me one player who gives his everything from start to finish? not just at united but anywhere else. And thats where we need this as a team effort not individual, when one player doesn't do it the other need to chip in and maybe lead by example to lift the spirits of others. Some are born leaders and some are not but that shouldn't be held against them!

Regarding the 'Rot', it's very easy to scape goat players like pogba and lukaku because they are easy targets ( Race also place a big part in this). Pundits will say a lot of things because they are paid to do it! For years the likes of neville and co were Pro Rooney and said nothing against him when the whole world knew he was stinking up the place! Rashford and Lingard have been horrible in the last few games has anyone come out and said anything about it? Oh wait a min! it's not their fault the rot has got to them!

For all you pogba haters, i feel like he needs to move on and be the world class player he is and then show the world how wrong you all were. That is what's going to happen anyways. Just a matter of time..
Nice one.

Hope we get our business done before Pogba leaves. As is we will get fleeced when teams know offer was from Man Utd. It would be a lot more if the entire world knows we have 150m readily available

If we can get over 100m then sell him. He's not interested in being here, it'll be a circus every transfer window with him whoring himself to Madrid. Get rid and get in in someone who wants to play for the shirt. He's not alone either. There are plenty that fit into this category

The rumours are totally made up and not even well made in the case of the spanish press who quotes articles that don't exist. The french press is all about Zidane and linking him with every french player that you can imagine.
Ffs, people believe rumours like those are scientifically proven facts. Now Gary fecking Neville knows more about Pogba than Conte, Allegri Deschamps and OGS who said that Paul is one of the better players and will have a bright future at United. If you gave Neville his wish, he would have stuck with David fecking Moyes. He has also forgotten about that game when Pogs and Martial have saved Mou from being fired right on the spot. The toxic fecker was taking snide digs at Pog, Shaw, owners, the clubs heritage, yet some posters on here would rather keep that moron who wasted hundreds of millions and sell Pogba. Now give me please one solid example of Pogba being unprofessional or fecking the dressing room up.

Though there is something interesting about all of this, the same thing happened between 2015 and 2016, everyone was linking Pogba to Madrid, Zidane was blabbing about him non stop, fans were convinced that he was Madrid bound and Raiola was playing along while he was in reality negotiating with United.
Madrid and Zidane have always wanted Pogba and the recent media campaign is the exact same campaign that they did when he was at Juventus but they failed to land him.

He looks like he can't be bothered and for the price we paid and the wage we pay him. If we can make a decent profit on him I am all for selling and reinvesting the cash on players who actually look like they give a crap about the shirt they are honoured to wear ! First post hello all

As well as whatever transfer fee we’d require for the deal, I hope we also require both Pogba and his agent to forfeit any bonuses they are entitled to from us. The agent took a disgraceful amount of the last transfer fee from Juventus; I’d hate for us to do the same from whatever we get from Real.

Even factoring in the penalties those are solid numbers compared to the rest of the squad and given the number of goals we score.
I can totally understand why Pogba wants to leave though, few bad performances and the whole fanbase is on his back despite the fact they were worse players on the pitch. Hounded by the media, even the pro united pundits like Neville scapegoating him. A club with zero ambition and a scattergun approach in the transfer market. The truth is any player who has options like Real or PSG would feck off.
A few bad performances? He's consistently been awful for a few weeks now, not just a few matches. His head just doesn't seem to be in it, he's not a driving force as he should be with that talent and is regularly outplayed by Fred and McTon ffs.

Can you show examples of this? Where's your proof?

Maybe people are "scapegoating" Pogba and Lukaku because of their bad performances, ever think of that?

Plenty of people are getting on Rashford's and Lingard's backs, I really think you just have an agenda here.

You need people to provide proof of black or darker skinned people getting judged differently to white or lighter skinned people in general?

Agenda for what?

No matter what it's always the like of pogba who get criticized. Even neville's recent rant was directed towards Pogba. He generalizes it in as players in social media. Which player is not on social media these days? even Mike Shorts Phelan is on twitter.

He can leave if he wants. Don't care much. We all know he's never staying here and even if he doesn't leave this summer, it'll be the next one.

Depends on what he wants to do really. If he wants to go and Real are bidding a substantial amount, then yes.
If they bid cheap, he doesn't go and maybe they can try next year. Simple as that.
How much do you reckon Woodward would take? Any offer over £120m? Bale on loan thrown in?

I reckon he's gone anyway and he knows this himself. I wouldn't be bothered If he did leave or not as long as we replaced him properly but we'll probably end up with Mark Noble replacing him :wenger::(

120M will be too cheap. He is on a long contract and had a decent season. Coutinho money is bare minimum.
And no. Throwing in unwanted crocks into the deal should be a serious no go.

I think the biggest spanner in the works for this deal to happen is Raiola himself. Madrid generally don't deal with him. But if Pogba is pressuring for a move that might change things of course.

I don't disagree, although I wasn't asking what you would do, I was asking what Ed would do. £120m + Bale looks Woodward-tastic to me.

Oh yes!! Woody would love that. Although I would be shocked if he manages to fetch 120M

Yes, let us ignore the fact that he is the dearest and perhaps most talented player in the squad. It has nothing to do with expectations and disappointment.

We all predicted himself and Jose would be gone by the summer. This club is not designed to accommodate those kinds of colossal egos.
Anyways if we make 40 million profit from his sale and reinvest the money into a few top quality midfielders like Rice, Tielemans and Bruno Fernandes then it will have been an outstanding piece of business

I'd be demanding £120m and some players. They have a couple of decent rightbacks, one of those and Odegaard would give us decent options and save us shelling out on a fullback. That or Varane.

If he wants to leave he can go. He wont be that big of a loss because he hasnt given us that much in his 3 years. Will always be a black mark in his career how he was at United twice and failed both times for varying reasons IMO. No hars feelings really, he can leave if that's what he wants. Players come and go, we have lost MUCH better players than Pogba over the years and we'll lose better ones in the future.

Maybe with the money we get we might actually make a good signing for once and get a balanced midfield now. Here's hoping! Reckon we'll get £150-180m.

If he isn't up for it, get rid. The juice just isn't worth the squeeze anymore with this fairweather twat.

I'd hold out for £140.

£35m for Bruno Fernandes, £45m for Rice, £60m for Neves. Backed up by Matic, McTominay and Fred.

I just want a new spine that actually have a spine! No more moody players, no more psychologically weak players.

We need natural born captains in midfield to allow the defence and attack to fulfil their potential.

Unrealistic, I know. But I'm fed up watching United players who don't feel the pain when they lose.

You are going to be extremely disappointed if you think the club is capable of such good business. We will probably go out and sign Vidal or some shite

More than happy to see the back of him.
Guys mentally weak.

Maybe he does just need 'better' players around him but he.
A. Fecks around to much on the ball, to try and show off, rather than doing the simple things.... Scholes, De Bruyne
B. Turns up when he wants. Strolls around too much for me
C. Cares more about his image than anything else.

If Real are seriously willing to spend 120-150m on the guy, we could buy a functional midfield with it
