This result had nothing todo with Ole. He actually made logical choices for subs. Sanchez for more energy and fresh legs upfront. Martial has been very lazy and needed to be left out. McTominay again was because Ander was on a card and the game was getting scrappy with tiredness.

He did everything right today. De Geas mistake, a lack of fitness and the outfield players lack of ability to make up for De Geas mistake are why we have the result that we do.

The only hope can be that missing out on the Champions League and this mess of a season will make the people upstairs realise that just sacking managers and keeping this mediocre squad of players largely the same isn't going to result in anything changing. A major, ground up rebuild is needed and has been for years.
