Ole should remind the players that there's no place to hide only to then play Young.

"We're Man United, and you have to play the Man United way"

Again and again and again.

These pressers are pointless.

Hopefully 3 or 4 youngsters will play. Screw the team. A really bad energy amongst them. I would sell from pogba to darmian. No one is safe. Its a shame we cannot sell 25 players and buy 25 players with a heart and some passion.

Are you suggesting Young literally tried to hide but Ole found him?
Nah Im suggesting that Ole tend to say one thing and then he does completely the opposite of what he said. The same with kids. He can't wait to give them a chance, yet....he keeps playing Young, Jones and the rest of the clowns cause you know, there's no place to hide when you're playing with United.

Solskjaer gives injury update
Here’s what Solskjaer has told MUTV about injuries:

Eric Bailly has probably been the one smiling the most out of all of us because you fear the worst. (about his knee injury). There are a few little niggles, so let’s count the numbers on Sunday morning I reckon. Mason Greenwood started off this week training but then he’s out injured again unfortunately.

We were looking at bringing him into the squad for the last two games - maybe he’ll make the last one.

Greenwood would have been in the squad for the last two games but he is injured now. Ole hopes he would be available for the next match.

FFS. Greenwood starting was just about the only thing that could have made me even remotely excited for this game. Although it'll be cool if Gomes / Garner / Chong start too.

Fair to say Greenwood might be a bit injury prone? I feel like he's always injured when a chance comes up to play for the first team but then he's always playing for the U23's. I'm sure that's not the case though.

Is greenwood injury prone from his playing style this is a recurring theme now. Should we be worried, plays like rvp and is it a playing style problem. His running and shots also looks pretty similar to rvp. Recollect that rvp used to be prone to injuries barring 2 exceptional seasons one at arsenal and other the number 20 season.

Solskjaer on De Gea
Will De Gea be playing?

I would think so, yeah, or he will play. Sergio was injured yesterday so didn’t train, tweaked his knee, so David’s been training well this week.

Contract issue for De Gea?

There’s a lot of talk about De Gea, do you speak to him about it, ignore it? Do you trust him?

Of course we do, he’s been fantastic this season towards the end now he’s been in headlines for the wrong reasons but he has to deal with that, the goalkeeping dept are fantastic, with Emilio, Sergio, Lee and David, tight-knit group, they’ve experienced better times than just now but he’s ready for Sunday.

Lack of goals
Rashford without a goal in six, Lukaku not scored in eight, how scored are you with a lack of goals in general?

They haven’t scored enough on the chances we’ve created but that happens, at the beginning when I came in we were very efficient, chances created compared to scored and then the other side David was unbelievable, we had a few chances against us and didn’t concede, now that fortune has changed and the margins and details have gone against us, if you look behind results, as a striker, as a keeper you’re facing little margins there and we’ve been working on scoring and creating.

Injury update
How’s the squad looking?

We’ve got a few niggles and injuries, still got two days, today and tomorrow to see who gets on the pitch, missed a few last week, it’s been a strange week, no midweek games, no midweek press conference, but it’s a week we needed because we were disappointed after the result against Chelsea, I think the boys felt it was a chance gone but we’re still in with a chance, yes we need some help, Arsenal and Chelsea played in Europe, you never know, that’s my focus, the next two games, and the players’ focus.

Training hard
With the injuries and the loss of form is there anything you would do differently? Are we seeing the effects of that now?

Well I don’t think so but towards the end is the end of a long season, you don’t train as hard, in difficult periods for strikers you do extra finishing just to get the confidence up if you have a ball that hits the post you might walk into the dressing room with a good feeling. Trying to get that good feeling back into the players.

Lukaku? Rashford?

There’s a few, no point giving you the insides, you get that from whoever you get it from anyway.

More on De Gea
What’s been said to De Gea?

What we discuss we don’t need to tell everyone if it’s positive or negative.

Happy there won’t be a repeat of the mistakes we’ve seen in recent weeks?

The performances over the years David’s got all my confidence .

Martial
Is there a danger Martial has become complacent after his contract

Anthony’s got goals in him, it’s up to us to move forward and et that into him again, so I’m sure we’ll see him scoring goals again in the future.

If he hadn’t been injured would he have played?

Ifs and buts and hypothetical questions, Sergio knows how much I rate him..

Technical director
Still no technical director in place

I’ll have a final say if a player comes in or go out and we’ve got regular meetings, I’m happy with the way it’s going and we’re supposed to sign 250 players so hopefully we can get players in you have written about as well.

On potentially missing out on Champions League
If you don’t get in the Champions League are you concerned that might be a deterrent for players coming here?

In the long term planning we have to think about being in the Champions League next year, we might not be and you’d be surprised how many players’ agents have been touting., not touting, but telling us their players would love to be a part of Manchester United in the future, that’s the lure and the potential and size of the club, that we will get back to the good days. We’ve not got up to the standards we expect but it’s up to me and the club and a season without Champions League who knows but players still want to come to Manchester United and you wouldn’t be surprised by the names that ask.

Can the players here change your view on them over the next two games, or are you decided who is in and who’s out?

You learn about them every single day, get positive and negative surprises all the time and every day here is chance to be part of rebuild.

That's a real shame for Greenwood, I think he'd have got a lot of minutes in the last two games, hopefully gets a start vs Cardiff.

Training hard

Daggers from Ole, good to see he's not just this nice guy and won't let the press/players get away with the leaks.
