'I would love Manchester United to sign Cristiano Ronaldo... he would slot right back in': Jesse Lingard calls on his side to sign Juventus star as he arrives for training with team-mates
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...ls-Man-Utd-sign-Ronaldo-arrives-training.html
Is it time for Ronaldo to leave Italy having added the Serie A title to his bulging collection!? I think he would be available.. and coming back to OT the transfer fee and wages will pay for themselves with marketing and Woodward signing sponsorship deals.
With Ole at the wheel, and having played with Ronaldo.. is it more likely than ever Ronaldo to come "home"? let's bring the Old Wiley Fox back..
I think this is a transfer story on the cusp of exploding in the next few months.. maybe the transfer SAGA of the summer!
He's coming home lads!
didn't even realize they were playing Friday

28 goals for one of the greatest goalscorers of all time, in a one team league is incredible?Incredible that despite receiving scrap, poverty service from his teammates all year; he’s still managed to amass 28 goals in all competitions this season. He’d probably be having another 50+ goal season if he were anywhere else.
He's gotten Allegri sacked with his failure to inspire Juve this season. Worst season of Allegri's tenure and maybe even the worst since Conte took over in 2011.
Just a coincidence that Dybala went from 22 goals to 5 this season?Yeah, he got Allegri sacked...
Not at all. Juve resorted to aiming the ball at Ronaldo's head all season, obviously Dybala would suffer.Just a coincidence that Dybala went from 22 goals to 5 this season?
You realize that stat shows he's outperforming his expected goals?Tweet

Benzema went from 12 to 30, clearly Ronaldo was holding Madrid back from their real potential.Just a coincidence that Dybala went from 22 goals to 5 this season?
Did you perhaps see Quagliarella's stats? You realize that stat shows he's outperforming his expected goals?
You geniunely misunderstood 'the quality of his shots' as a criticism to him as a finisher... when it's about how tough the shots are, which he rightly takes in this Juve team.
You know the NBA stat circus is getting into football when the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruben Neves and Harry Kane get criticism for shooting at goal. Lucky Batistuta for escaping the analytics nonsense

You didn't link them. What are his pressure regains and turnovers like?Did you perhaps see Quagliarella's stats?
When I initially saw this as it was posted, I thought it was to troll/antagonise but now coming back hours later to see the replies and that you were actually being serious, has me nothing short of amazed. He's gotten Allegri sacked with his failure to inspire Juve this season. Last year Ronaldo scored 44 goals, Benzema scored 12. This year Ronaldo is at 28, Benzema at 30. Must be magic to explain something like this... that or having no clue about what's even happening by not watching the games and following football through a stat sheet. I guess Benzema is a better goalscorer than Ronaldo... and Stuani and Iago Aspas are better goalscorers than Antoine Griezmann too! Vardy is better than Kane! Callum Wilson is better than Lacazette...
Juve won the league in January, with Ronaldo leading the league in goals and assists. Then Juve stopped giving a shit, he went over 2 months without playing a football match in Serie A and Quagliarela kept playing his one game a week in a team built to feed him goals since they have nothing else to play for.
Do you have any doubt at all he'll score more goals if Juve pick an offensive minded manager? Stats don't happen in a vacuum, they depend on the circumstances.
6 games he's missedhe went over 2 months without playing a football match in Serie A
He has 5 more games than ronaldo, a total of 450 extra minutes. Ronaldo scores every 123 minutes, Quagliarella every 117.Quagliarela kept playing his one game a week
And how was Juve playing? did they expect anyone else to score goals besides Ronaldo in the Atletico or Ajax legs? It didn't seem like itin a team built to feed him goals
Neither had Juve for the last month, still Quagliarella made the gap bigger.since they have nothing else to play for.
Ironic that you say this after your rant in the post about the comparisons against Quagliarella, Fabio has worse service and plays for a team where his teammates score less goals. I don't get why you have to fight the idea that Quagliarella has been a better scorer than Ronaldo in the Serie A this year.Do you have any doubt at all he'll score more goals if Juve pick an offensive minded manager? What? So they won the league by a mile and he didn't justify his wages by scoring after the league had already been won?? They pay him money to win titles, not to get an arbitrary amount of completely meaningless goals... and the cup??6 games he's missed

And even if you compare wages it's an absurd debate that you just want to win for I don't know what reason. Juve didn't sign Ronaldo to help them win the league, or to make him the Capocannonieri. They signed him to win the UCL, and it was evident that their Plan A, B, C and half of D always consisted on having Ronaldo scoring the goals in their legs and he did his part, but the league and cup?. I don't think he's had enough output to justify a 100M transfer and his wages in those competitions.

"champion in England, Spain and Italy...Best player in England, Spain and Italy. There are no limits to your achievements(conquests) when you keep dreaming"
They invented the Award just for him like they did it in la liga
Exactly. Theyre trying to mask the disappointing season hes had. Playing for a 1 team league, being one of the greatest goalscorers of all time. He didnt even hit 30 goals.
And most valuable? Didnt he only contribute 30 per cent of his teams goals, compared to Fabios 45 per cent. Fabio outscored and outperformed Cristiano, that much is clear.
Wow there's history with thisThey invented the Award just for him like they did it in Spain

His main aim was to inspire Juve to CL glory. His team didn't even make thd semis. Would you call that a success?Ronaldo's seaosn was disappointing ?
Same can be said for Messi though. CL was barca's major priorityHis main aim was to inspire Juve to CL glory. His team didn't even make thd semis. Would you call that a success?
No, but Messi had a significantly better season than Ronaldo based on the statsSame can be said for Messi though. CL was barca's major priority
