Couldn’t give a shit, he thinks he’s better than he actually is and his constant chatter in the media is just boring now, get some good money for him, move on...oh! and he can take Martial with him while he’s at it.

Read this in Agent Smith's voice.

You hear that Red Cafe?...
That is the sound of inevitability...

We all fecking knew this was happening, it was just a matter of time.

I do hope that we end this crap PRONTO!
And by pronto, i mean by the end od the week.

It would ne great if we can do our buisness in the same time, so we don't get fleeced, but honestly, i just want him gone! Don't care if we sign a replac ement.

Him gone would be our best buisness od the window!

Hopefully this can be sorted out quickly.

Were it up to me, I wouldn't play hardball on this. If he wants out, try to accommodate him (within reason, obviously). The last thing we need is a long-winded saga.

Well, actually, the very last thing we need is Pogba sulking about the place next season, but you get the idea.

We can't even sign a decent centre half let alone find a replacement for Pogba! I'm starting to think that the people who defend Solskjaer and the board are the ones that want us to fail!

So.....inconsistent or not, United's win percentage is clearly higher when Pogba played than without him. If United sell him, then a CM of the same caliber has to be signed.
Were not going to find a midfielder of the same calibre. We could build a better team though and that should be the aim. Liverpool didn't replace Coutinho with anyone as good in the attacking midfielder role.

That's some serious mental gymnastics. What the statistics highlights in essence is how much the sixth best team in the league relies of its best player. It wouldn't look as impressive when you stat nitpicking each number and comparing them to the numbers of completely different players playing in completely different teams.
He might be our best player but he's been nowhere near as vital for us as people make out.

Serious mental gymnastics? You don't think another player playing nearly every game in an advanced position and taking penalties would come out top on most of those stats? Lukaku scored one goal less in 900 fewer minutes with no penalites, hardly 'serious mental gymnastics' required. I'm not even comparing him to the best players at other clubs there because he's nowhere near them.

Great, let's move on from him.

He's a brilliant player when he's arsed, sadly he can't be for the majority of the time with us and you have his fans blaming everybody else for his lack of effort.

Presumably the 'new challenge' is to put in one decent performance every three games or so in a different shirt. So much talent, so little character.

If Gerrard/Lampard had that season they will be called fantastic. Different judgements for Pogba.

Part of me is absolutely furious about this. The utter disloyalty of the man is breath-taking. It is not that I don't think we should let him go, because I do. It is the fact that aside from fits and starts, he has largely underperformed relative to his talent. Paul Pogba is a poster child for all that is wrong with the modern day footballer : overpaid, self absorbed and narcissistic. Despite Pogba's largely average performances, Ole still wanted to rebuild the team around him; yet the player now thinks that he is bigger than the club and better than the badge.

Yes, lets sell him. If he doesn't want to stay then sell him as quickly as possible. Sell him before the 'virus' spreads to the rest of the team. I remember when Phillipe Coutinho wanted to leave Liverpool and in the end they stuffed him down Barcelona's throats for a massively inflated price and rebuilt their side and became champions of Europe. I know that we do not have the post-Coutinho options that Liverpool had, but we can do some amazing business (as they did) with the c£150m that will get for him. Didn't Liverpool get Van Dijk with the Coutinho money?

We want players that will play for the club and bleed for the badge. Pogba is clearly not interested in being here and probably hasn't wanted to be for some time now. Let's not stop at Pogba. Let's take this opportunity to get rid of anyone else who doesn't want to be here or is holding the club to ransom. Get them all out and rebuild this club from the ground up.

Watch him sign a bumper contract after this with Raiola getting a heavy sum, they know how to play the system.

Seriously. Pogba can Pogboff to wherever the hell he wants so long as they pay up.

We are going to rebuild. Our team is being rebuilt by Ole and we ought to have every single players wanting to play in that shirt week in week out with their hearts on their sleeves.

I felt for Pogba last year a little bit. He didn’t get the support sometimes. Yeah he’s had a few shockers too but he was our best player last season which is an indictment of where the club is actually. This year, no champions and he wants off. Cool! Fine! Awesome! Bye!

I want to love my team and players again. I want to see the backs of all the doubters. All of them, including Pogba, can bugger off.

Do you think it was fantastic? Personally i think he was better in 16/17. I'm not swayed by penalties scored.

I don't mind him leaving, provided we get a decent price for a player of his quality. But any player we are bringing in to replace this man better be good at football, or we're well and truly fecked.
But But running and not being Brit.....arm Bright!!!

In all honestly we're losing a special player and there's no one like him which is why Real wants him. However once he declared he wanted to leave we have to move on. I am not confident that our Clown CEO and the rookie he appointed as manager will bring adequate replacement though.

What a surprise - he played his hand and confirmed he wants out.

Now turf him out and get on with the rebuild, he's no use to us anymore.

The thing is,Pogba can go blue in the face in speaking openly about leaving United but I just cant see any club stumping up the 130 million + United reportedly want at this moment in time.

Quite funny too that for all of Madrid's supposed interest in Pogba they would rather spend the majority of their budget in bringing in Mendy,Jovic,Hazard,Militao and Rodrygo before they've even strongly contemplated signing Pogba.
Says it all about Madrid's priorities and how they view Pogba.
Basically more of a expensive after thought.

Could be quite different with regards to Juve's interest though.

Yeah, super special. So special he only works under certain conditions along side specific styles of players and even can't churn out a single season of consistency.

He will get found out at Real, make I've little doubt about that.

We could do with someone who wants to be here, and he deserves a much better club than ours. Time to move on.

He says he has had his best season ever, but i remember a lot of this. Yes he's one of our best players but he is replaceable. All that matters is how we reinvest.

Very much sums him up. Fluctuating between great and shite.

We've been waiting for Pogba to be found out at Juve, United and France. He did well at all of them. I am confident he will do well there too. I doubt Shaw, JLingz and Jones will be found out at Real though for the simple reason they don't want this sort of tripe in their team.

Basically what I've believed unless Madrid do a u-turn and offer 150m+,the club has most of the leverage given the length left on his contract.

Could easily see it being like Hazard where he's talked up a move away only to end up being sold over a year after publicly coming out with it

Rubbish like that. Like it or not, he is a very special player, and if he hasn't been found out at Juventus, United, and France NT, he ain't getting found out at Real, where he will much better players to play with.

Where the grass is greener.
Would be a huge loss. Talk of Cancelo in a possible deal and then Eriksen as a replacement makes me think it could be the best business we’ve done in years.
As much as I'd love him, I've no idea why Eriksen would come to us, or how we'd be able to wrestle him away from Spurs even with his contract situation. Seems a very very unlikely deal.

Erm, that is probably the result of having no one to pass to on the right wing! While Mata and Lingard Piss off to the middle!
Will happen again next season too. Pogba or no pogba!

Serie A was a one horse race when he was there, it was a dogshite league and a completely different pace. He's been broadly shite in England, lets be honest. The place in that Premier League XI was a hilarious joke and received wide criticism. He can't actually perform for longer than 3 months at a go. He's done it every season, and he did it this season. There are so many midfielders better than him in a central midfield role. That's what we bought him for, not to sit around and only focus on chance creation.

As for France - it's not even club level football, what does it have to do with anything? His problem is consistency. That's not an issue in International Football. He had 4 good games in a World Cup and suddenly he's the best again? Not comparable when you're expected to maintain that level for 38 games.

I'm going to enjoy quoting this in the future.
Can't wait.

I've said before we can't allow Pogba to turn the club into a media circus this summer. If it's true he wants to leave, get him out as quickly as possible. He would love the hype and the attention dragging on, but the club must deny him that. If he wants to go, get a transfer sorted and spend the summer re-building the team.

Zidane was talking him up in the press since the season was still on right after coming back though.

The deals they made were in the works months, and in Hazards case a year, prior to being completed which is why they were done so early. A huge transfer like Pogba's was never going to be simple due to the fact that the club is in strong bargaining position to sell on their own terms for a fee that suits us and nothing less. Nothing to do with how much Real prioritize him or not

All of that is irrelevant when their manager has a hard on for him which is why they'll most likely fork up a decent sized fee for him near the end of the window as they get more desperate to complete their new galactico squad this summer

The guy is a "baller", but he's also poison.

I'd rather get rid and lose an (occasionally) great player if it's for the benefit of the team as a collective. It wouldn't be the first time we've done it, and I doubt it'd be the last.
