The moon gave me flowers for funerals to come.
Hoping for a similar impact to the underrated one Louis Saha has for us.

Ultra mobile & able to link together play but also a lethal finisher that will hopefully enable the younger forwards to flourish; if Lukaku goes I would love to see this happen.

I’m becoming more hopeful with each passing rumour. Bruno, Longstaff & Yeddar would be good signings if we keep Pogba imo. I’d have loved a Sancho to too this off but this would be a decent window if we can offload some free loaders in the process & get 3-4 more signings done.
Bumped into him in the airport Friday, was hoping for some transfer gossip bit he wasn't very chatty.

Lingard is already contracted until the age of 29, if he gets a new deal he hasn't remotely earned (and he hasn't even remotely earned his current deal either) then it's categorical proof that Woodward, Judge and indeed Ole dont have a fecking clue what's going on or what should be going on.

We set a catastrophically bad precedent with Sanchez's contract. It literally killed our chances of signing or retaining (De Gea and Pogba) any more "galacticos". Even if we had CL football we would have been on a path of financial ruin chasing players like Greizmann or Dybala because of the wage precedent Sanchez set.

Now we're on the "young, hungry and British" path the best single way to feck that plan up is to start massively over inflating the wage structure for those sorts of players, and we already know the transfer fee situation for them is over inflated so we're going to end up doubly fecked.

If lingard gets the new contract then the whole utd negotiation team should get the sack.

It's high time that we stop questioning the quality of players rather than their ability.

United need players in the team who are sensible to at least make it about the team rather than themselves. If even Pogba can't give you the guarantee that he'll improve the team a lot, I am not sure many can.

So take your pick and hope they play like a team rather than individuals.

We haven't learned from holding onto average players have we, we shouldn't be looking to extend Lingard's contract with better terms, the club should be trying to move Lingard on before it becomes obvious just how average he is and becomes worthless on the transfer market and sitting on wages that no other club that suits his level would be stupid enough to agree to.

Tottenham are on the verge of shattering their transfer record for the Lyonmidfielder, Tanguy Ndombele, after agreeing a fee for him of €62m (£55.45m) plus €10m in add-ons.

The whole price would have been quoted in the Tweet if it was us.

Frustrating to see a player like Ndombele get away. He definitely has it in him to take Spurs forward another level, I don't get that same feeling from players like Bruno Fernandes and Longstaff.

So the story from L'Equipe is Spurs have agreed a £55m package for this guy, with personal details to be confirmed, and that United and Juventus had agreed personal terms but no fee. As per the tweet we should surely be in for him now at £55m as that would be a steal!

Unless of course we're only being used for more click bait.

What a signing. The fee agreed leaves little expectations as well. Almost similar to the price we paid for AWB. Even AWB is a phenomenal talent imo. Either way, only if United has a manager who philosophy is similar to Pochettino, we would be in for such a talented player.
