So the Thunder have now traded away James Harden, Victor Oladipo and now Paul George.

Thrilled at the outcome.

Not 1 superteam. Lots of contenders.

Clipper-Lakers games will be must watch TV.

I imagine OKC will try and trade Westbrook too for a full-on rebound.

Yep... that's too much. His game has declined. EDIT: I meant Danny Green

Harden, because of luxury tax.

Oladipo to get Paul Geroge(and Oladipo then broke out in Indiana, wasn't that great next to Westbrook).

Paul Geroge, because he asked for a trade since Leonard pushed to team up with him.

I feel bad for their fans considering their last decade, but Seattle fans must be excited to the moon at what's transpired.

Harden, because of luxury tax. With revenue sharing that's a BS reason imo.

Oladipo to get Paul Geroge(and Oladipo then broke out in Indiana, wasn't that great next to Westbrook). So they gave up on him too soon?

Paul Geroge, because he asked for a trade since Leonard pushed to team up with him. They oculd have said no. I like Gallanari but now they'll struggle to make the playoffs, might as well trade Westbrook as well now.

When it's possible can someone break down the starting 5s in the West? Seems like it's going to be an absolute war to get into the postseason next year.

Wow wow wow, so happy for Clippers. They became a contender overnight!

Good deal for both teams. They had been accumulating assets to make it happen for the last few months, Jerry West is an absolute genius. OKC get out of long term cap hell and finally get some assets. It’s probably not the end of trading for them, I imagine they will attempt to flip some of these assets for players.

Damn. OKC got a great deal, but if this is what the Clips had to do to get Kawhi, it was a no brainer.

Lakers done fcked up big time refusing Jerry West's services. So stupid.

Lakers v Clippers is going to be insane. First time both are championship contenders at the same time, since Lob City came when the Lakers were on the decline.

Or trade Adams and Russ for more picks.

Danny Green to the Lakers confirmed.

30m over 2 years seems like an overpay thougg
Big overpay. But now its gonna be like the cavs. Get a lot of 3 n d guys n hope lebron n AD can be special together. Congrats to the rest of the league. Your nightmare of the lakers dominating didn't come to fruition. Next season is the most open one in about a decade.

If either of AD or LeBron gets an injury I can see a struggle to make the playoffs for the Lakers

Pat + Kawhi + PG is some insane lockdown defense on the perimeter.

Lakers still shot of few players and they can't be termed as Championship contenders, not sure how they are going to fill up the rest of the roster.

Respect for AD to waive that trade bonus so the Lakers could pay KCP $16m. I am sure he is delighted with that decision.

So as it stands Lakers roster is basically AD in place of Lonzo,Ingram and Hart from last season

Not if the clippers are any good. 4-5 mid/late round picks? Id rather have had the AD package from the lakers.
George and Kawhi are in their prime and locked until 2022 in PG’s case and 2023 in Kawhi’s. They have some good young players as well, and will probably have cap flexibility to get more and more rotation guys.

The picks from 2023 onwards could be good but the ones until then are not that great. SGA is a great talent. Miami’s picks are nice but the 2021 one has depreciated since Butler decision and also it won’t be the double draft anymore.

I would say future Lakers picks hold more value because they don’t exactly have solid avenues to improve going forward and it could get proper messy post LeBron. In Ball, Ingram, Hart you at least get three players that you know can play, and on top of that you also got no. 4 this year which they turned into Hayes and Alexander-Walker plus other assets. I would be surprised if OKC get even one no. 4 out of this deal and Pels got one this year already.

Yeah but everyone else has left as well. It’s not a bad thing though because I don’t think you are going to want to build around Rondo, Lance and McGee.

Exactly. It seems okc is in full rebuild mode and will have to try to spot elite talent late in the draft. Oh well here's to hoping kawhi or pg or both their uncles feck it up.

Oh really. I just woke up and barely shoke off the shock after George deal. This was the message that popped up first in my notifications on iPhone, then I saw Danny Green to Lakers and figured if both those things happened then Kawhi is a Clipper.

Wtf did you do Kawhi?!? Nonetheless Lakers have a good team and are in a better shape imo.
No they're not. Kawhi, PG and the team that took the healthy Warriors to 6 games is better than LeBron, AD and a makeshift roster.
