What a golazo

How about Andriatsimaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?Help me
That’s rare. Basically 100% of your fellow countrymen are absolutely enamoured with his personality and public image even more than his quality. Nobody blames him for anything. He can do no wrong. What makes you dislike it? Do you think it’s all fake and just for good publicity?Yeah I can't stand his antics anyway and honestly don't like his character that much, great player, but definitely not likeable at all. All this generation isn't likeable for me. Feck them.
Actually more and more have been turning on him recently, especially after him supporting his sexually harassed teammate Amr Warda, and him calling out Egyptian fans previously for lacking mentality. That’s rare. If you mean his on-field character, well he definitely is not a leader. Compare Ahmad Hassan to him. Actually there is no comparison at all. Imagine what Shehata would do to this group.
It would be quite sad though if he doesn’t win an AFCON before he’s done.
Indeed. I'm amazed at their fitness levels. They seem to keep up against a bunch of these better-quality sides.Magnificent for Madagascar. Dream debut tournament for them.
This is what I’ve been talking about with the foreign “big name” coaches Egypt has chosen to go for recently and who haven’t done better than previous local coaches. The Bradley’s and Cuper’s and Aguirre’s have been very disappointing, to say the least. The foreign coaches don’t seem to understand the football culture and usually favour European-based players (even those who are regularly on the bench) over local-based players who are used to performing well at continental club competitions. Exactly. We're forced to see Nenny playing for us regularly thanks to him playing for Arsenal while he's non existent in midfield and we have better domestic midfielders than him but who cares, he's playing in Arsenal so he should be starting by default. This is what I’ve been talking about with the foreign “big name” coaches Egypt has chosen to go for recently and who haven’t done better than previous local coaches. To be fair, they looked gassed during that extra time. They did well to hang on to reach penalties, thanks to excellent keeping from their GK. Great result for them, all the same. For debutants at the AFCON, they have truly been very impressive.Indeed. I'm amazed at their fitness levels. They seem to keep up against a bunch of these better-quality sides.
That’s what you get with most foreign coaches in Africa. Only a few like Renard and Claude LeRoy truly value players in the domestic leagues. I think Desabre did so as well.Exactly. Sehata and his team. 2008-2010 period will always be my most favorite Egyptian team ever. This team also played toe to toe with Brazil and defeated Italy in Confederations cup 2009 and were completely domestic bar Zidan.
I expected them to get tired earlier. They play such a high-intensity game but do well to last so long. Their pressing surprises so many teams. To be fair, they looked gassed during that extra time. Agree. Unless the foreigner manager is interested in putting an effort to follow the domestic league and choose players from it, he's not worth it and I'll prefer a domestic manager ahead of him. We don't have a great generation, but there're several domestic players that would have fared far better than some starting and were chosen based on nothing. That’s what you get with most foreign coaches in Africa. We have had the same problem which people have been decrying for ages. Seedorf selected players from all around the world (including China) but not a single player from our domestic league. In all fairness, our local league isn’t as rich as the best in the continent but still. It can’t be so bad that not a single player can be picked to make up a 23-man squad.
he looked like a billionaire owner who just purchased the country. Why are they cutting to a korean on a throne cheering for madagascar?
Edit: ah alright he's the president of madagascar.
Seedorf clearly came for the paycheckThat’s what you get with most foreign coaches in Africa. Only a few like Renard and Claude LeRoy truly value players in the domestic leagues. I think Desabre did so as well.

Do you really believe you have better players in the Cameroonian league? Come on bro. That’s what you get with most foreign coaches in Africa. Only a few like Renard and Claude LeRoy truly value players in the domestic leagues. I think Desabre did so as well.

I know, I admit our domestic league can’t be compared to any of those you cited on the continent. But when you see some of the players called up and the teams they play for, some of whom aren’t even regular starters at their clubs, it’s hard not to think you could find better players with proper scouting of the local league.Do you really believe you have better players in the Cameroonian league? Egypt and the countries in the Maghreb, South Africa and perhaps Congo (TP Mazembe in particular) can produce decent teams filled with home based players because they genuinely have strong domestic leagues. Even Nigeria with a relatively strong domestic league has only one home-based player and that's the reserve goal keeper.
Haha sad but true.Seedorf clearly came for the paycheck
So many good opportunities off target. I swear at some point one of them tried a stupid no look shotIvory Coast to QF to meet Algeria.
Shame about Mali. Think they were better, but that was a stupid goal to concede that late in the game.
Watching it now. Not a goal. The player who got the ball and played the cross was clear offside, even though I don't know the linesman probably ruled it out for this or something else.Dreadful refereeing. Lino seeing something that isn't there
He ruled against because he thought Partey handled the ball which is ridiculousWatching it now. Not a goal. The player who got the ball and played the cross was clear offside, even though I don't know the linesman probably ruled it out for this or something else.
I think the same too, that he ruled it out for a handball, which is definitely not present at all, though he was lucky that it was offside from the start and not a goal anyway. He ruled against because he thought Partey handled the ball which is ridiculous
