It's Ballague though so take it with a pinch of salt.
Why do we need to persuade him to stay? We're Manchester feckin United. He isn't bigger than the club. It should have been the case from the beginning that we let Jose go, and then moved Pogba on after his head turned by Zidane.

This is on the executive and management team.

Ndomboule
Tielamens
Ce Loso
Ramsey
Cabellos
Bruno
Neves

There is a long list of midfielders that we could have spent the last two months chasing instead of pining over this player that never really loved us in the first place. What the feck were they thinking? What the actual feck. Signing Bruno isn't enough. We need several.

Ballbag just wants to spin along the "Pogba rejecting Solskjaer, Pogba rejecting United" narrative as long as he can, sad little scrote that he is.

That's where I question Ole's priorities. Sooner or later Pogba will have to leave. We should have gotten Teilemans even though Pogba remained for one more season. We could have atleast been stocked and that would have put us in a stronger position when dealing with Real and Juve. Now, we've let Pogba and Raiola put us at risk. Terrible planning. We should always get our reinforcements prior to selling.

According to both Corriere dello Sport and Il Tempo on Tuesday, no offer has been made just yet, while Gazzetta dello Sport believe €75m has been offered by the Premier League side for the 24-year-old (they say Claudio Lotito wants €120m).

As things stand, we’d be far more inclined to side with the first two, especially since Mateja Kezman has yet to return to Rome, where he is awaited by Lazio to discuss his client’s future.

The most interesting thing from that article.

Just shows how we don't plan ahead of time. Pogba always seemed to leave and yet, we wait to sign his replacement. There is nothing wrong is signing a kid someone one year ahead of time and give him the time to adjust.
On this I disagree. I do think Pogba and Ole, who know each others since the academy btw, have discussed. Ole asked a clear question and Pogba probably answered in a way that seemed explicit, but now, he's not so sure. There is no way you can have such a different understanding without having a mega misunderstanding.

I wanted to share this information that I did not know before today

Sergej brother signed for us in 2014 but was released in 2015. Becuase he failed to get a working permit.

On 2 April 2014, Milinković-Savić signed his first professional contract with Vojvodina, penning a three-year deal. On 17 May 2014, it was announced by Manchester United that the club reached agreement with Vojvodina for the transfer of Milinković-Savić. Both clubs agreed that the player would stay with Vojvodina for one more season. The deal was completed on 5 August 2014, for a transfer fee of €1.75 million. After failing to earn a work permit to play in England, Milinković-Savić was released by Manchester United in November 2015 and he signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Polish club Lechia Gdańsk on 26 November.

Bollocks. Evaluating a player in an international tournament is always terrible. Look at Golovin, who half of this forum was falling over last year, he's struggling in France now. International tournaments are always terrible places to evaluate players, your Stoke shit is pure bollocks.
Haha well I'm convinced. I am sure everyone in football agrees with you, too. Thats why there are never scouts at any international tournaments! You can't tell anything about a player!

Manchester United have been given permission to speak to Mario Lemina, with Arsenal also interested in the Southampton midfielder

Ole won't be involved in making this kind of decision and he certainly doesn't make the bids.

This is all on Ed

We need a replacement for Herrera so at around £15 million, I'd definitely take him.

From the little I've seen of him in the Prem, he is very energetic and explosive, has some nice technique on the ball as well but I'm not sure about his passing.

Motivation might be an issue but it could be that he isn't happy at Southhapton.

Gomes at 22m , Barella at 45m ( that's including all bonuses) , Tielemans at 40m - all would have been better options than Lemina.

Yeah I don't actually mind if we buy multiple low cost options as long as they fit the team. And as long as the club doesn't make a profit on this transfer window. We had 250m to spend according to reports in May. So with the Pogba and Lukaku sales, we should be spending about 450m. As long as we spend close to that number we should be just fine.
Agreed, otherwise it's one step forward and two steps back.

Good news. And if we win battle with nobody for Longstaff then 7th place is secured. Maybe even 6th if we buy Maguire from our biggest rival.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Jesus wept, the amount of whinging going on in this thread! The people complaining about @Fridge chutney are far, far more annoying than anything he has shared.

If I’m not mistaken (new time poster but looong time lurker) this is the transfer tweets thread, and FC is posting transfer tweets. Nothing here says it has to be United/PL related (and plenty of tweets shared aren’t).

I play footy twice a week with a bunch of lads, one of which supports Bradford, another Luton and another Tranmere. These tweets arm me with some knowledge of what their clubs are up to so I can chat footy with them, so I’m all for it!

Keep up the good work Fridge!
How about split the thread into two? One United/PL/European and one British non United/non PL?

Then people can post whatever they want and everyone can choose which thread (or both) they look at?

We need to get involved here. Can play RW and is available at a fair price. Surely we're interested?

If Spurs pick him up for a fee like this and we start the season with Mata on the right I think my head might explode.
