I do agree with you but I think Real will push to offload (James, Isco & Ceballos) and recoup some of the money to get Pogba. Bale won't leave for sure unless he considers China but he loves life in Spain.... He spends most of his time getting massages on the physios table while he earns around 500k/ week. No other team will offer him good wages....
If Pogba remains, United will have to try and get him extended as his price will only drop and also an unhappy Pogba means that he will do the bare minimum as he did so when Mourinho was in charge.
Even with those sales can they really afford him? They've already spent over €300 million.
Yeah I do agree with you though. He definitely needs to sign a new contract. I feel that we may have promised him that he can leave next summer, a la Ronaldo, so he shouldn't be too unhappy if that's the case
Although there's a little bit of difference... Ronaldo was 23 when he was promised and so he left when he was 24 and had over a decade to play for Real. However, Pogba will be leaving when he's 27... and Pogba's ability may seem to diminish by then.... not sure if that would attractive anymore to Real as they look for the next shiny toy every season. Havertz may also come available then..... either way, this is just be postulating.
