Let’s not bullshit. This team is currently a challenger for a CL place. Not good enough to challenge for the league or guarantee a top 4 finish but certainly there or there abouts with Chelsea and Arsenal for that last CL place.
For the record I can’t get my head around why we would settle for this and not bring in the quality players like you referenced but let’s be honest, we can’t say we won’t challenge for top 6 with this team we have now!

Perez and Tielemens as a full time player. They have a better defence and midfield than United. Our attack is slightly better and our goalkeeper is clearly better. Also it's Leicester. The fact it's even close between the two teams is insane.

Doesn't really matter how potent their attack is when they won't be able to defend. Don't think they'll be causing any worry to City or Liverpool.

I agree its a strange signing, they need steel in midfield and a few defenders yet blow their budget on an attacking loan player and a winger.
