Juventus window (before this swap deal) was something like:

De Ligt in
Ramsey in (free)
Rabiot in (free)

No wonder their fans are fecked off, would have been a class window

Havent we been nogotiating all summer for him, how do Spurs think they are going to swoop in?
We have not even asked Sporting about him, let along been in negotiation all summer for him. As per Sporting and leaks to british Journo's.

+ Buffon
+ Demiral
+ Pellegrini

+ Lukaku

All said, losing a Dybala that doesn't fit isn't the worst thing for them.

I remember him being one of the idiots who consistently said Fabinho was signing for United. Don't think he's reliable in the least.
Di Marzio and Mohamed Bouhafsi were saying the same at the time.

Emerged later on that Juve had been spreading false information to cover up for their own failure to sign the player (which is also where Laudisa presumably heard it from).

Hodgson always had a raging one for Smalling. Pity we can't flog Smalling to Palace while giving them Lukaku on loan for a season in return for Zaha at a fair price, minus the 20% we own, making it a quick deal with £45 million going the other way.

A year down the road and Lukaku is top scorer at Palace, meaning the fortune spent on Maguire is recouped quickly from Inter, who realize they have to pay Lukaku price in full.
Lukaku won't accept demotion .

I'd take Mandzukic here. Not spectacular, but do the job and we will get more time to bed in Greenwood. Rashy is the first choice anyway.

His not reliable at all bro.
Meh, when it comes to juventus he has decent sources. Not someone to take his word as law, but not a bs merchant either. Strictly when it comes to juventus

Mandzukic would be a really good signing for 10-15 million IMO. Think he’d do really well in the PL. Even if we don’t get Dybala he’s a good value option for the short term if Lukaku leaves

Exactly. If we are backing Rashford up too then Mandzukic is a nice alternative if we had to chase a game or cover for Rashford.

Kind of how Llorente at Spurs has been backup to Kane.

Drove to the airport and home... 20 new Twitter... 0 from Fridge "nonleague" Chutney... But nothing has happened. I should be used by now, but I still felt sadness over the fact that I didn't see Fernandes or Dybala on a plane to Manchester. :houllier:

I thought he was a CB
He can play both CB/CDM, got great potential, I'm glad he left Arsenal, where he wasn't getting any chances. Hope he'll feature more in the national team with Bednarek now. Our other CBs are too old or too poor.

IF......and it’s a big, big IF, we pulled off Maguire, Dybala, Mandzukic and Bruno in the next 6 days, it’s got to be the greatest window we’ve probably ever had.

James
Wan Bissaka
Maguire
Mandzukic
Dybala
Fernandes

it seems impossible but when one of them is a swap and another is with the same club, it’s actually only three separate teams we need to be in negotiations with. The Maguire deal IMO is already in its final stages and god knows how long we’ve been negotiating with Sporting for Bruno (if indeed we are in for him).
VERY unlikely but could happen!
