Never thought the Dybala deal would happen. Got a little hyped but he never seemed to be interested.
I have always wanted Bruno so I hope all the denials about us have been a bluff. Otherwise we are fecked next season without either.

Ah well the shit show finishes 5pm Thursday, cannot wait.

Zaha in that 10/second striker role is dangerous. However, with Rashford, James and Martial, they'd be too many dribblers in the final third and not enough passers, which is what we slightly struggle with when it comes to the final ball.
That’s where Bruno would come in. The beauty of the system would be how fluid and interchangeable it would be. Imagine the likes of Bruno and Pogba finding them

This is a very good shout actually. Would not surprise me if it happened.
It would fit Ole’s profile perfectly. With Arsenal out of the running and Zaha still wanting to leave, this makes a great deal of sense. Imagine the upgrade to our right side!

Naw. The Manchester United Dybala is rumored to have doubts about is far inferior than the one Di Maria had issues with. That's the huge difference - United back then hadn't been run through the mud with season after disastrous season. There was still hope and glitz

I don't know mate, feels like the club don't have their act together at all - two signings all summer then getting drawn into this weeklong gamble on Dybala instead of just securing the signings we needed from the get go.

Not to mention, if Juve wants him out and he has reservations about joining a team that might well finish below Wolves next season, it's incumbents on US to convince him
Not really. We have to be the only mega club that needs to convince players to join. He was no doubt offered stupid money and turned us down. It’s likely his agent / brother wanted stupid money for doing nothing as well. If players don’t want to come here then we shouldn’t sign them, simple as that.

Very unfair on Sanchez, don't think it's the lack of effort, it's just that he's past it.

Really need to sign a midfielder or two. Then again, I personally don’t hold much hope that we will. Maguire and that’s our business done.

So many spot on points here, so many supporters take objection to the wages some of our players are on but we're happy to have Dybala come in as one of our highest earners? Then there's the fact that after years or chasing galaticos that haven't worked people were calling for AWB & Maguire Type signings, Dybala would have been @ complete 360 and a throwback to all we've done badly over the last 6 years

Hmm. Love to know what options are still out there, if Fernandes is being ruled out.

It’s just getting worse.

We’ve got holes all over the team, what the feck have we been playing at all summer?

Depressing. If we go into the season with Rashford, Martial and Greenwood as our striker options we’re finishing 7th at best.

Dybala situation mirrors more with Di Maria but Sanchez you can see he wants to prove himself but his just not good anymore.

I doubt he's too traumatised sitting on the bench as the wads roll in. If he had any dignity he'd feck off to China, to pick up slightly less wages while playing for a League One level team.

How is Sanchez a coward and crying off out of interest?

Anyone who has watched him can see he's putting in the effort - he just dropped physically and can't keep the level anymore.

Throwing him in with Di Maria is totally wrong.

Yay, the meltdown in here would be of epic proportions if that was true!
Another season of no midfield and no attack
The meltdown will be completely justified. We would have improved our defence but quality in midfield, attack and management will be worse than last year when we finished 6th.

Great stuff. Simon does love to piss on my chips.

I find it strange that a goal scoring, attacking midfielder who also tracks back and puts in a shift is not on Oles list. Maybe Ole has a fetish for a shockingly below par midfield where his best one wants to leave.

Of course. It's a joke and it'll be Ole that ultimately pays for it when we're in a crap position come Christmas

Would be suicidal to sell Lukaku without bringing in a replacement. The youngsters are not ready.

This is where people get angry at themselves for being stupid enough to believe portugese media for the 15th year in a row... but bundle it up as anger at the club

True, Di Maria was better and was often played out of position at that. To accomodate Rooney in midfield. Genius LvG for you.
