He’s world class. He might not fix our midfield (think we need a proper DM) but he will add much needed creativity, workrate and overall quality. I think he’s the best midfielder in the league tbh. If we can get him for anything similar to the money we are gonna get in for Lukaku (or less!) then it’s a no brainer.
Know I am probably alone and will be pilloried and dont get me wrong, I do think he is a good player, but being in the premiership, is he not a bit over rated in the UK, I dont think he is world class at all, took a long time to settle in the premiership and though he has been very good the last couple of years and certainly wouldnt mind us signing him, is he really all that? I dont feel as excited as everybody else about adding him

What Juventus is trying to do in my opinion, now that United declined to sign him, is create interest in Dybala by releasing all kind info to everyone and their mother about teams negotiating for him. They are desperate to sell him as they need funds to balance the books. Kind of like Barcelona, supposedly, having recieved interest for Cout from half the teams in the Premier League, which was straight up bollocks. Let's be serious, it's doubtful that Spurs is willing to pay him the kind of wages United were offering. Plus they have to cough up a substantial fee too.

So Spurs not willing to offer Eriksen a bumper contract to stay but willing to pay Dybala's supposedly £18 million per year wage demands + agent fees.... Chinny reckon
40m GBP with the lawsuit my friend. 40m GBP.

We sign Maguire for £80 million and Fernandes' price is over-inflated? Okay then
Maybe we were never after Fernandes and that is what it seems. Also, as much as I would like us to get a creative midfielder if I was given one choice whether to get a CM or Center Back I would have chosen the latter.

The Tottenham try for Dybala, offer of the English club to the Juventus

After failing to settle with Manchester United, new offer for Dybala. It comes again from the Premier League, but this time from London.

Tottenham proposed 70 million euros for the Argentine striker. Juventus agree on the valuation of the player. Now Dybala must find its economic agreement with the finalist team of the last Champions League on wages and commissions.

Wow

Yup, plus they've bidded 70m Euro, which if they want Lukaku, thats not going to cover it. So they'll be able to sell Dybala, but won't be able to afford Lukaku, so they're still losing out.

Yeah but they also have a tight fisted owner who won't pay what Dybala will demand, so it really doesn't matter.
Juventus are reportedly fine with the bid. It's just down to the player.

Zaha must be regretting ever signing a contract with Palace. Their valuation of him is ridiculous and basically unmeetable.

You're not alone mate. Eriksen is perhaps the most overrated player in this forum. He is not world class or the best midfielder in the league. People just like to hype other clubs players and downgrade our own.

I want Spurs to get Dybala. This will allow Juventus to sign Lukaku and us to sign Eriksen. I guess it depends on how well you think Dybala will do in the PL, but I'd rather have Eriksen.

If he joined Spurs on a smaller wage and agent fee it would be hilarious.

Time will tell then. It's coming from Di Marzio, so it can be reliable, or BS as he's not been amazingly good this season.
Or as i've said, it could be Juve tactics to get United back into the game as Dybala has had a reported change of mind and will take what we've offered

What if Eriksen doesn’t want to join us after all that?

Wow... so Spurs are going to sign Dybala, Coutinho and Fernandes... that'll be an impressive final 2 days won't it!
I see them getting Coutinho in all honesty though
if that happens, a title push might be on. They will be closer to City/Liverpool than the rest. That is what i would call strengthening.

I agree.
Coutinho would be a good signing for them, even if it's just a loan. Fernandes i don't think is going anywhere, and it's just his club pushing out all these reports to drum up interest, or try too.
Dybala i highly doubt for wage reasons and the fact it'd likely unsettle the club, but hey, stranger things have happened.

Fernandes is somewhere crying right now.
I seriously wonder are any big teams even after him. AT this rate I See his crying his way back to SPorting's team or maybe joining some average european club.

Could also mean that Mandzukic to United is back on.

If Coutinho, Eriksen , and Dybala (which he said no to us so I guess he shouldn’t be mentioned) are available, also Bruno willing to move, and we sell Lukaku and end up with no one else, I think we should absolutely lower our expectations and not think about top 4(specially with arsenal’s And spurs reinforcements)/ league as long as the glazers and Ed are here.. and unfortunately I have a feeling that we won’t get anyone else..

It is baffling because our eyes don’t deceive us surely? He looks a top player and his technique and work rate look really good. Only 24 as well.

The price quoted doesn’t seem too high either when you think of what was paid for Felix.
