Pogba, McTominay, Matic and Fred.

That's 4 midfielders for 2 positions. Numerically, it's enough.

Garner can also step in if we're in a pinch.
Except our starting line up will be Pogba, McTominay and Matic for most games. Going with a 10 means you can include Mata and Lingard in that, Gomes too. But that will take cover away from the front 3.

Numerically it’s fine, but it involves a lot of players not being in their actual positions.

Seems Arsenal finally have competent transfer management after all these years. To get £40m for a shit player like Iwobi is something our board would do.

Not worth £40 million but by no means shit. There's a decent player in there and think he will do well at Everton.

We're becoming like Arsenal fans - miserable moaners constantly negative. Why can't we go the way of other great clubs on a title drought, like Liverpool and just be outright delusional about our chances every year? Would be more fun and less stressful.

I cant believe the people who manage this club have managed to make our season feel over before its even started, despite us winning every single pre season game. Incredible stuff really

Shame clubs cant get players to buy out contracts making them free agents so they can bypass this shambles that is the early transfer window.

I think he's regressed massively.. slight upgrade on Walcott.
Last season was probably his most productive season so not sure regressed is the right word but has not turned out to be the player he looked like he could become after his first 15-20 appearances. If Everton play him in a no 10 position with Richarlison, Keen and Bernard ahead of him I think that's a pretty decent front 4 to be honest although Zaha would have been more of a statement.

He does something nice once every few matches but on the whole he's a nothing player. Looks like a panic buy after Everton failed at getting their top targets.

I think Everton have got themselves a gem, give Iwobi time and continuity and I think he could be a great player. Hope we have a buyback option of some kind.

This spurs business is honestly making me feel a bit sick in the stomach, its really hammering home how far we have fallen. It makes it feel real that we are in that 4th place struggle now....
What does Spurs signing players we weren't in for have to do with Man Utd? It's not like they rejected us to sign for them.

Very jealous. Not of the player, but of a club's ability to just competently get a deal done.
People need to grow up. Always something to moan about instead of looking at the positives. Day the transfer window opens it is all 'Why haven't we signed anyone yet? This club is a joke', a week in to the transfer window it is all 'Still not signed anyone, club is a joke and will leave it to last minute'. Then people like you moan we dont panic buy at the last minute too. Would hardly call announcing someone they have been linked with all summer, 20 minutes after deadline closes as getting a deal done competently.

Like it or not, we have had a successful window. The team will now be able to play with much more freedom in attack, which will undoubtedly bring out the best from the lads.

There's only one United!
Woodward has failed again.
Couldn't appoint a Director of football too.
He's a specialist in failure and a Clown.

We didn't even put in a cheeky bid for Doucoure? Even though Ole was only looking at prem players or ones who play in the UK? This should be an interesting season...
