Albon up to 6th
Their strategy was better, go long and wait for a VSC.Great luck for Lewis, worked perfectly for him.
Yeah great race, guy started from pit right?Albon up to 6th
yeah think he did , he has done well since getting the Red Bull drive.Yeah great race, guy started from pit right?
Probably helps Bottas though, the shenanigans here will remind Mercedes of the Rosberg/Hamilton fight. Bottas might be a problem next year in the constructors if Ferrari remain ahead in development.Albon is so fast that prevented Max from taking free pit.
Leclerc came as a bit dickish this race but its good he has that fire on his belly, something that certain Bottas lacking in his time in Merc.
Well, good for him if he just happy to be there. As average Rosberg as some might think, he fought with his all for his championship. It was good to see and certainly better than anything Bottas has been showed.Probably helps Bottas though, the shenanigans here will remind Mercedes of the Rosberg/Hamilton fight. Not in my time as a spectator but apparently so:Off topic, but has the safety car ever been anything different than a Benz?
there has been a few read this it might shock you.Off topic, but has the safety car ever been anything different than a Benz?
The Opel Vectra during the San Marino GP which some sources have attributed to the incident that caused Ayrton Senna's fatal crash. Not in my time as a spectator but apparently so:

Yeah, reckon they'll make the switch before the big regulation change. Wouldn't be surprised to see Russell get the nod.Well, good for him if he just happy to be there. Next year certainly his last year in Merc i think.
I can see that. Russel to accompany Lewis untill he get his 8th to see if Russel can challenge or go for Max in the first opportunity arrive.Yeah, reckon they'll make the switch before the big regulation change. Wouldn't be surprised to see Russell get the nod.
They messed up big time. They've cost Leclerc and themselves a ton of points this year by trying to appease vettel.Just watched the highlights. Merc lucked into a 1 2 a little but the big talking point is the Ferrari guys.
I know they want to maximise their team points but if the arrangement was to draft Vettel into 1st place at the start it was a fecking stupid idea. Given the pressure that Seb has been under and the history of the last few races (Vettel helping LeClerc win in Belgium, LeClerc screwing Seb’s qualifying in Italy & the team fecking LeClerc’s strategy in Singapore) this was never going to end well. Just let them race and sort it out on track. It’s not like Ferrari or either of the drivers are really going to lose anything/much in the standings.
Other than that, Albon did well. Pit lane to 5th is strong. What happened to Norris. One minute he & Sainz were running 5th & 6th, the next he was down in 9th? I can only guess he got fecked a bit by the safety car, but it wasn’t really explained.
To the tune of 0.5 seconds or more. Extremely impressive. They have found some sort of solution but it's speculation, combined with a low drag concept it's a rocket on the straight and in acceleration.
The rumours are something around how it's harvesting and applying the battery power.
Agreed, at a time when engine returns are diminishing to find half a second per long straight is incredible. If they don’t screw it up and the others don’t apply this trick then Ferrari will be hard to beat in 2020.To the tune of 0.5 seconds or more. Extremely impressive.
Not surprising.Qualifying, which had been due to take place at 15:00 local time (08:00 BST) on Saturday, has been postponed until 10:00 (02:00 BST) on Sunday.
The race will be held as scheduled at 14:10 (06:10 BST).
he could well be crowned champion in Mexico for the third year in a row.I didn’t realise Hamilton was so close to securing the title already. Feel way out of the loop this year.
