I feel so bad for Ole, so bad. Is like players betrayed him. When he was a temp, team played hard and everyone appeared to be energized. Then he becomes permanent manager and performances go to sh1t. What happened? Did he just forget how to manage the team after he became permanent manager? Did the team that performed so well while he was a temp didn't need a manager and just were winning games on their own? I just think once he became a manager players went back into mediocrity. I think the biggest problem is that Man Utd to most players is just a cash cow. They are there to milk cash. Most of them don't give a sh1t about Man United, Man United fans. Hell, most of them don't give a sh1t about themselves.
I see Ole there on the bench dying inside. All blame is on him, but there is something rotten. There is something so wrong with the culture within that team. Players come to the team playing amazing and then drop into mediocrity. Same thing with managers. What the hell is going on? I am not superstitious, but it feels like we are under some sort of a spell/curse.
I say let's endure this season and give Ole another season. Changing managers doesn't work. Maybe when example is set so people don't fear their job there will be shift in mentality within the team. Let's assess Ole based on his work habit, tactics, strategy etc... If that's really bad, then I am sorry but he has to go. But if he is doing his best but players out there are not executing the plan... Then players are the problem. There is old saying that great teams don't need a manager. Not a popular opinion these days, but can really all manager that come to Manchester United suck?
