I know form usually goes out of the window in this fixture, but we're not scoring against that defence, and our defence isn't going to keep them quiet.
This could really ugly from set pieces alone.

I can't remember the last time I was dreading a game so much.

Edit: All these players returning from injury makes me nervous. Last season's fixture comes to mind, where we rushed players back and lost them for longer.
i dont buy this form doesnt matter storyline

team thats won 17 straight vs a team that couldnt get a shot on target vs az alkmaar - impossible to ignore

im predicting a 3-0 loss and the game over by half time with ole walking away post match

We don't concede much anyway. In fact we don't even give away shots that much. Also we got our striker back. Can only mean one thing

Barcelona away Liverpool away Man City away last season?

If United are too lose on Sunday as expected all I'd ask for is for the team to be set up to be hard to score against and beat.

Can't see martial starting. He'll be on the bench. I've predicted this. And a 3-0 loss.

    Romero

    AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw

    Mctominay Matic

    Pereira Mata James

    Rashford

If we somehow win this, I'm celebrating like we've just won the Champions League.

2:30am finish for me. I wo't be watching. I have a 12 hour shift the next day and just being pissed off is better than pissed off and tired. We're gonna get fecked. This has to be the biggest difference between the two teams since the 70's. Add our injuries to that. If they get an early goal, it could be 5 or 6.

    ------------------------Romero
    AWB-Tuanzebe-Lindelöf-Maguire-Shaw
    Dalot-McTominay-Garner-Gomes-James

Let's go 1-0 Lindelöf with the header.

I suppose you living in Australia too? Time after time I tell myself not to watch when it's 12 am, 1 or 2.30 in the morning. The bad thing is I wake up automaticly even I have to start working at 6am.

Try to sleep through, but in case I wake up again Im gonna check the line up and I'll watch if it's not 4231.

issue we have when the game ends at 4.30am down under is if we lose we will be inundated with lfc mates smashing our social pages and wont be able to sleep before work again

I'm in Japan so the time is similar. Pisses me off that I miss watching most CL games, but I suppose that's not such a problem recently.

I’m genuinely struggling to think of a game I was more pessimistic about. We’ve served up such bad football against the likes of Newcastle, Alkmaar and Rochdale over the past few weeks I don’t really have any hopes of a draw.

Lingard is definitely out, to much cheer for some.
    Depressing...

    ---------------- Romero -----------------
    - AWB - Lindelof - Maguire - Rojo - Shaw
    --------- Mctominay ---- Matic ----------
    ----------------- Fred ----------------
    ------------ Rashford - Martial ----------

Should we all watch this game or could we go the cinema, turn off the phone and stay there for the next 10 months ?

I can support us when we lose, when we play bad football, but knowing a week before that we'll be bullied by THEM, it's unforgivable and that's why I have some anger against Ole.

Last year we were on a good form, they were on a superb form, and thanks to our pride, we managed to be okish against them.

This year we all know in advance that they will come and embarrass us at home. That's clearly unforgivable from our management and players.

Meh, we were far worse than Liverpool in the 80's and they never had it easy aganist us in any game.

Admittedly, back then we had the likes of Moses, Whiteside, Hughes and Robson who weren't shy about going in hard and upsetting the scousers.

Our social media obsessed, prefer not to make eye-contact, hide under a blanket when the going gets tough batch of current players are probably going to lay down and die.

Okay, 0-3 it is with no shots on goal from United. Twats

I hope we can raise the game for this one. Will be hard, but I do think we can get something from the game.

Every Liverpool goal makes Oles sack closee. More goals more we can be sure he'll be booted out of the club. United Liverpool 0:7.

Curtains for Ole after this one
There's always that hope that a new manager will be the one to turn things around, and the only positive if we lose comfortably might be that.

Still hope Liverpool will put their customary cowardly Old Trafford display in, and we find something huge and get out with a draw though.

We'll either work our socks off, play well and get a 0-0 or 1-1, or we'll get absolutely battered 4 or 5-0.

    I can't see a 1-0 or 2-1 to them.

We'll end up with a draw or marginal 0-1 loss and will pat ourselves in the back for the decent scoreline. Look out for "It could've been worse" posts later.

I hate the phrase "keep it tight", as it's so meaninglessly annoying, but if such a thing is possible we need to start super cautiously. If they scored early and we have to really go at them, it could be ugly.

We have at most ONE goal in us a game.

You'll be squeaking on your seat if it's level late on :lol::lol:
A draw would be a real nightmare... United win would be miraculous so I couldn't be unhappy and Liverpool win would be great financially.
