This is Rochdale all over again at the moment.

Should be a few up, aren't, and we're open to a sucker punch.

    Same old shit
It’s like we don’t train for how to break smaller teams down
    No width or plan b
We just seem to always pass sideways all the time

According to Ole firm supporters, it'll.
Nah. Everyone (almost) can see that things aren't great. Doesn't really matter in the end though because results will eventually decide.

Goalkeeper booked for timewasting in the first half. That’s a first.

Rashford and Martial have no future at United.
Should have bought Perisic and never sold big Rom. I'd also recall Sanchez back, James can learn a thing or two from him if he ever wants to develop his current Championship level.

He doesn’t do enough as a modern number 9 unfortunately. Great player in flashes and moments, but will never be in the top bracket of striker.
Maybe he's a number 10 or an invisible number 9 though.

Same story, different opposition! We sorely lack creativity, with Periera the only player who seems to be trying mostly forward, adventurous passing. Everybody else is sideways or straight lone one two's. So infuriating to watch and has been like this since Carrick and Kagawa left the club. We have lacked creativity all over the park for years, with Pogba and maybe Di Maria being our only singings in recent years that could produce that piece of creative magic consistently. So it comes as no real surprise that we can't unlock a team who have 9 men sat in their own box. I mean, we have Maguire and Axel 15 yards outside their box and yet, still, everything is sideways.

Squad needs money thrown at it and not the usual random signing with no thought behind them. Ole needs time to identify the prpblems the squad has and able to sell and sign whoever is needed to become a fully functional team.
We have a very fast, counter attacking squad at the moment and when able to play to them strengths, ie; against City, Liverpool, Spurs ect, the team shines and gives me hope and validation that Ole has some tactical nous that, given the backing and players he needs, can also produce a squad that can dominate similarly against the low block and we do against the high press.

While people are happy to get behind a player as lazy and shite as martial , we will remain mediocre and shite, the contempt I have for this team makes my blood boil !! Cant stand at least 80% of this squad , if your shit at your job you get sacked, shame football doesnt follow the same result.

So what’s Ole’s excuse tonight then?
why is it his fault that some fans demi god rashford needs 100 chances to score, it times to stop constantly blaming managers and place it on the over rated players at this club who get away with it just because some are young and some from the city

So dramatic on the match day thread. We’ve played OK, we’ve moved the ball quickly, had all the posession, carved out 3-4 good chances and not taken them. More in the 2nd half, break the deadlock, force them to come out and we could win 4-0.

So useless against a team who sits deep its ridiculous.

We'll still win... but feck me, we over complicate things and go for the hardest goals. Play it simple.

What a great football on display in the first half, all that coaching work on a training pitch finally showing.

For real, put aside that we are full of ideas in final third, like a turd with vitamins. Hope its clear to everyone that we need tones of money invested into squad for us to break a Colchester bus.

I can see why Ole played the starters. This is pretty much a training match to observe in game problems with breaking down deep defenses. People keep talking about mentality, fact is, we are just really bad at creating consistent chances against teams who park the bus.

What's the problem? Well Liverpool can break these teams down because they have three world class attackers who play in narrow positions and are good in tight spaces and have great supply lines from their full backs. City have a midfield that is brilliant off the ball and fantastic at the final pass. Real Madrid play accurate pass across the pitch and direct, which forces gaps in opposition defenses. These are simply examples of ways to break this sort of situations down. Traditionally Utd always had two forwards that could hold up the ball in high areas of the pitch and bring in the rest of the attack who pushed up. Even when we had cantona and scholes playing in those roles, they had the balance, strength and agility to play in tight narrow spaces or spread the ball wide. We are missing those central links in the middle. Considering that we have chosen to play narrow when faced with these kind of opponents, we need to our central attackers (Striker and attack midfielder) to be creative or balanced, neither of our central attackers have had this throughout the season. This is why we struggle in these games.

To fix this situation, we need to at least sign an attacking midfielder with good agility, balance and creativity.

You have to wonder... We have had 3 managers and many more players coming in, but no one able to really coach them.
This is the basics of the game. By the time they reach this level they should already know how and when to make runs. In a game of football you might get 50 touches on the ball and have the ball for a total of about 3-4 minutes. This game isn't as much about what you do with the ball as it is about what you do when you don't have the ball. And with Martial I'm not sure if it's laziness or if he just doesn't have a good footballing brain...

We've had more injuries to deal with than Colchester who have the fortune of having a settled 11.

When Pogba comes back you'll see.....
Spot on! The future is bright and we are building the right culture with players who really want to be at the club because no other top club will have them....

Sanchez is and has been crocked for most of the season. James has already scored more goals for United than Sanchez ever did. Perisic would have been a good shout I agree but the rest is nonsense.
