How do we know he isn’t injured?

When you come back from a long term injury strains and tears and knocks are very common.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s nowhere near matchfit condition so we’re not taking chances.

Also wouldn’t surprise me if he was acting up and we’re just gonna sell him this month/summer but still, we don’t know do we?
true, could be some sort of injury setback, but he should still travel with the team no?

Not a clue what the protocol is for injured players tbh. They don’t always travel with the squad do they?
If they are fit enough to fly to France the day after not playing against Burnley they should in my opinion, Fergies opinion, real Madrid’s opinion and a lot of other clubs opinions but not the pogbaistas it seems. Used to see all the non playing united players sat in a row watching the match many times.

If so not ideal preparation for what is a huge game given today’s results, could be season defining.
I agree. The circus around Pogba and his apparent fuelling of it does him little favours with those of us questioning his (when he's fit) on-field output.

Training/Getting treatment at Carrington today so there you go (If you believe MEN)

Sickner for the Pogba haters. What a crime it is to be injured. You must despise Bailly and Dalot.

They've obviously prepped a piece which says something along the lines of his refusal to play. That they're waiting for the team sheet, would suggest they don't have complete faith in any sources.

The whole situation reeks but I doubt what they write, there's any evidence of...we shall see I guess.

Who are La Republica by the way and how do you all know the quotes are genuine?
Among Italy's most popular and recognized daily newspapers. Published in Rome and considered more politically progressive. Second in circulation after Corriere della Sera.

So funny seeing all the people come out the woodwork again. Must be exhausting. At least wait till Ole says something before you lynch the man again.

Either way when he is gone it'll just be another step back for the club cause we can't replace players at the best of times let along when we are "rebuilding"

(We aren't really rebuilding just stripping the squad and lowering expectations)

Also if the club knows he is gone , how come none of you seem to care that we are doing feck all to replace him? Surely with that kind money coming in you would have a few players or a top midfielder coming in right now. At a certain point the clubs and their ineptitude needs to be the talking point. Who cares about Pogba anymore. If he stays he stays, if he goes he goes.

At the end of the day when he leaves he will go to a club that is aspiring as a football team while we will be stuck in the same place as the last 6 years. Ole isn't changing anything. He is trying of course but I'm sorry we won't get anywhere with the Glazers and Ed. Every year it gets harder not easier.

I'm done with it, it doesn't matter. He isn't even a problem in the grand scheme of things. The state of our club and what the Glazers have done to it is really the only thing that matters at the end of the day.

Maybe if people channeled their hatred for Pogba to the people who really deserve it (Glazers and Ed)we might have got some change.

Would kill for the 2010 protests to start again as even though they didn't achieve anything atleast the fans had a United front. In truth it's the last time I really identified with United fans as a collective. We are all so split nowadays.

Seems an impossible task for the fans to influence the fixing of the club now.

Anyway that's my price on it. Love the club which is why I'm so passionate but dejected over it all. Hopefully, in my lifetime I see us under different owners cause I can safely say the Glazers are the sole reason we are where we are.

Hope no other football teams are allowed be bought how they bought us. Criminal.
Spot on

Not to absolve him, but the bigger issue once again goes all the way to the top. If it ends up he wanted out back in the summer, the decision not to sell him was against the best interest of the success of the club on the pitch, with full knowledge and no regard of the adverse effects.

Will be funny if it turnes out he's not injured. All the people who laughed at the notion there something going on will have some blushes. Saying all that it could well turn out to be just injury setback. Although this is fast becoming very, very strange.

Cant blame the club for not selling Paul for 50m now

Absolutely used to them travelling and watching from the stands but no idea if it’s mandatory or not. I agree that they should.

Yes I can if it's in the best interest of achieving success on the pitch. There's no argument from me regarding his ability, and when he's dialed in we can blow the doors off almost anyone, but what does keeping him around if he doesnt want to be here achieve? This is speculation on my part because it never happened, but I think we'd be better off with say Bruno Fernandes taking his spot rather than the situation we're in at the moment. If Pogba has his head in it and is motivated, I wouldn't swap him for a single player not named De Bruyne, but that doesnt seem to be the case. What's more is his value will continue to drop if he can't be arsed to play.

Guy seems to always miss pivotal matches. And when he wants to leave his excuse will be no champions league football. Well obviously because our best player (you) isn’t available when we need him!

Something going on for sure at this point. Fair enough if he was injured before, but hes not injured now. Shit needs to get sorted out asap this January.

Regardless of whether something untoward is going on, if he's this injury prone we obviously cant rely on him. Best sign and bed in a replacement before he goes

That’s an argument I’ve been trying to get across to his fanaticals who say they don’t blame him for wanting to leave as he should be playing in the champions league, well as the superstar get off your arse and fix it

He may or may not be injured. But the situation is weird and suspicious, especially if you add the Raiola comments of a few days ago to the mix. I am basically waiting on Pogba to give an interview about wanting a new challenge at some point.

My word all that hard balling him in summer telling him he wasn't for sale worked well for us didn't it? For what he's played we'd have been selling for £75/80m and buying two new players.

It's ridiculous now. The club can't continue to be mugged off by their best player. Ole needs to cut the shit and fine him, his conduct cannot be defended any longer.

I'm trying to be neutral about this but this is getting awfully weird. If we look at the club as an organization and Pogba as an employee you d want to know why the dude you hired as your star employee and gets compensated as such -continues to be absent for the team for what seems like vague reasons - all while the manager keeps defending him. Other employees and people on the outside looking in rightfully would be asking questions. It be nice to get some more clarity on what's going on - or otherwise working on replacing the employee.

If the latter, I’d have huge respect for Ole if he came out and stated why he’s not playing then tell his agent to find him a club by the end of the window.
