Alexander Arnold completely done there by Anderson. He’ll never be a complete right back

Alexander-Arnold has been skinned two or three times in that first half. Woeful defending from him once again. West Ham need to target him and that right flank every time they counter-attack.

Watching the game I can't help but thinking what West Ham fans must think about Anderson if our fans are so critical of Lingard and Pereira. I would say, watching this game, Anderson is so bad that I can't believe if Moyes keeps him on for second half. It is like playing with 10 men.

Why did Pellegrini do so badly? Under Pellegrini West Ham would have folded easily.

Both goals were savable i'd say but not necessarily goal keeping errors. They were well hit headers with lots of power, the keepers were able to get to them but couldn't keep them out.

That record is absolutely ridicilous. Not sure if we're supposed to even take it seriously. Was the league so weak? No way any side can concede just 15 goals in today's PL.
World class keeper, two world class centrebacks and a world class defensive midfielder. Fullbacks who were conservative going forwards, two other midfielders who took their defensive responsibility very seriously and an attack that were mostly built on hitting early balls to Drogba for Pogba to pick up or their two pacey wingers as outlets. They didn't commit many men forward, didn't need to either as they had enough quality with with their front three and lampard to get the goals needed. Also, it was a new approach from a top team.

We'll have to disagree on that one mate.

Mark Noble and very good player doesn't sit right with me.

That's a good call.

I can imagine his tombstone reading something like: "He ran a lot"
Dirk Kuyt
"He ran alot and he also looked like that guy from the hit 80's film Goonies"

Officiating also had to do with it. PL refs back then waved away a lot of now card worthy challenges especially from defenders. Watch the Utd-Arsenal Highbury 4-2 match of our 2-0 at OT when we ended their run and it’d be a miracle today if Utd finish the match without a red card. That Chelsea side on top of their quality were also pretty damn physical and cynical, it was truly a bitch to play against them.

I'm pretty sure they're doing worse under Moyes? I think Carragher and Neville looked at the stats at the beginning of the show.

Someone who was paying more attention might be able to confirm.

Well, Anderson has more assists than Lingard and Andreas combined.
