Both Real and Barcelona need a striker, Barcelona's chairman has an election coming up and they'll pay enough to make sure Levy sells outside the premier league. Juventus can't afford it.

City just aren't as attractive with no CL.

Juve can't afford him (and don't need him) on top of what they're paying Ronaldo.

he'd be an amazing signing.

Real should just get him when phasing out Benzema.

Harry Kane to replace Phil Jones + Marcus Rojo as Eric Bailly's treatment table buddy.

Controversial opinion:; I dont want to spend that money on Harry Kane

Don’t think it’s controversial at all. I’d prefer making Ighalo’s move permanent & try to put majority of our money towards Sancho & Zakaria over Harry Kane

Kane is too risky. He's missed almost 35 games through injury since the start of 2019 and is still injured, so he might not be the player he was when he returns. He would cost too much with the fee and his wages combined for it to be worth the gamble, in my opinion.

Not at all, I think it‘s quite the contrary. The new United train lead by OGS has slowly left the station, and I can’t see us stop again to to pick up a £100+ Harry Kane when a right winger is more urgent.

From my perspective our next stop will be a young world class right sided forward, hopefully Sancho. I hope we continue with Ighalo and if Pogba stays I think that’s enough business in the summer 2020.

Kane will be 27 when the season starts, if you can get good service out of him for 5 more seasons, 150M would be the best money anyone ever spent in football. A proven goalscorer is hard to find and any substandard replacement is going to cost 80M anyways.

I'd comfortably sell Pogba and reinvest that money into Kane.

To me, it depends on if we see Martial/Rashford as the main striker next season and onwards. If so, then I'd like us to bring in Ighalo and let him and Greenwood fight it off for the role as second striker. In addition, let Greenwood get minutes on the wing.

If neither of Martial and Rashford are supposed to be the main striker, then go all in for Kane. We need a proven goalscorer that can give os presence in the box. We are still in transition and have enough areas on the pitch where we rely on players stepping up a step or two, so to bring someone in with a proven goalscoring record and experience will be vital. I don't think Ighalo can be that guy for us. I like what he has done so far, and frankly he could't have started much better, but we still need to see him over a longer period of time and a greater variety of opponents.

I also think that if we don't go for Ighalo or Kane, we will end up paying a big sum for another proven goalscorer. No matter what it will be costy. So might aswell go all in for Kane, who knows the league, probably will spend his best years with us and probably will gel in easy with the group. I'd rather overspend on Kane than on someone like Dembele from Lyon.

Do not want another Sanchez here, he is injury prone will cost fortune and doesn't make a sense when there is a RW hole to fill with a big talent and one seemingly available in the market.

Honestly I think we're in for some of the most daft and factually inaccurate transfer stuff we've seen in a long time. Nothings going to really be happening at the moment with all the uncertainty, but the papers have pages to fill.

A year or two back, I'd have been all over Kane but I think I'd rather go all in for Sancho and then try to lure Haaland next year. I suspect Kane's injuries won't go away and we've seen his best.

@Judas I also know you to be a fine Muppet yourself

Whitwell saying a young recruit could be sought but isn't a priority right now. I personally hope we go for Ibrahima Konate from RBL in 2021. He would before long be our best CB IMO.
