Surprised Dortmund didn't try to sign him permanently.I thought Madrid would have wanted to take him back. That would be a great signing for Inter or any other team that needs a RB.
Yeah. Conte seems to be building quite an interesting team. Will be a good move for Hakimi. He's already brilliant in attack and working under Conte will improve him further.
They already have Carvajal and Odriozola though.I thought Madrid would have wanted to take him back. That would be a great signing for Inter or any other team that needs a RB.
The contrast in style from how BVB play and what will be expected at Inter will also greatly benefit Hakimi and will improve his game defensively quite abit. He's still only 21 too.Yeah. Conte seems to be building quite an interesting team.
Yeah, right. Sure we areTweet

Who knows what Dortmund does with all the money they get from scamming clubs with their playersWait, so if Real are willing to sell and the player is willing to move, then why didn't Dortmund try to sign him?
Signing him seems implausible now given that they have signed Meunier, but I always thought it was because Real were not going to sell Hakimi.
Hakimi has been brilliant in his new RWB role, I think he would've been worth the 40 MP because of what he brings offensively. Don't think Meunier can provide the same.
Inters transfer business is quite impressive and uniqueTweet

If you look at their business after Conte got hired the only thing unique about it is it’s shitness.Inters transfer business is quite impressive and unique
I was referring to them buying deadwoods as the unique partIf you look at their business after Conte got hired the only thing unique about it is it’s shitness.
Inter have actually been very good in the transfer market under Marotta and have closed the gap on Juve significantly. They've been buying many young players too with huge potential.

Yeah I quite like their business. Barella, Eriksen, even Lukaku. Also about to get Tonali and Hakimi. They gave a solid defender in Skrinniar tooInter have actually been very good in the transfer market under Marotta and have closed the gap on Juve significantly. They're also close to signing 20 year old Marash Kumbulla who has been brilliant for Hellas Verona in SerieA and also have some big talents in the youth team like Agoume and Esposito.Yeah I quite like their business. €20m for Haland, €20m for Bellingham and another €40m plus for Hakimi would be problematic for them i'd say in the current crisis.Really strange Dortmund didn't sign him. Maybe they tried, but he wanted to go to a different country to develop. No way this has only started being negotiated since it was confirmed he'd return to Madrid.
That's an incredible signing.Tweet

when we lock a top-4 spotWhen are we gonna get the ball rolling??
Developed? He had it. I seem to remember the surgeon remarking when he opened him up that it looked like a bomb had gone off in there, it was so bad. That kind of damage accumulates over time. He was done when he came here as his appearance and injury record show.Hargreaves developed knee tendonitis. Can happen to anyone. Bayern didnt want to sell him.
Imagine him being able to gloat about United's salary budget instead of Arsenal's!Tweet

He supposedly will earn €5m net(!) at Inter. I doubt that Dortmund would want to match that. This foreigner tax law or however you wanna call it is a clear advantage for Italian clubs. Ronaldo, Lukaku, Eriksen, Ramsey...Really strange Dortmund didn't sign him. Maybe they tried, but he wanted to go to a different country to develop. No way this has only started being negotiated since it was confirmed he'd return to Madrid.
Definitely. His all-round game will improve two-fold. He has a bright future ahead of him.The contrast in style from how BVB play and what will be expected at Inter will also greatly benefit Hakimi and will improve his game defensively quite abit. He's still only 21 too.
So they aren't as financially secure as some have suggested. Unless they don't see right back as a position in which they urgently need quality.Tweet

The issue probably is the cost of Hakimi who will likely cost around €50m in total which doesn't make sense for Dortmund's business model. So they aren't as financially secure as some have suggested. Unless they don't see right back as a position in which they urgently need quality.
Hard to tell. Doesn’t mean they don’t have it, but it may well mean that they don’t think he’s 40m more than Thomas Meunière, which isn’t unreasonable. So they aren't as financially secure as some have suggested. Unless they don't see right back as a position in which they urgently need quality.
He's shite, not the sort of player we need. What can he do that McTominay can't?Tweet

Just too expensive I think. Also forces Dortmund to play 3 at the back because Hakimi can't play as an RB, or rather needs to develop defensively a lot to be able to play RB.Really strange Dortmund didn't sign him. Maybe they tried, but he wanted to go to a different country to develop. No way this has only started being negotiated since it was confirmed he'd return to Madrid.
I laugh at every transfer because I was told teams wouldn't spend in this current market. Even tight fisted inter is spendingTweet

Still have no idea what Real are thinking letting him go with Carvajal not getting any younger at all...
The windoww hasn't even started and we've seen Barcelona just spend 70m on a declining 30 year old,Juve 80m on a still not fully proven 25 year old and Dortmund and Chelsea already announced Meunier and WernerI laugh at every transfer because I was told teams wouldn't spend in this current market. You know the numbers involved in arthur-pjanic swap is all about accounting profits for the year? The windoww hasn't even started and we've seen Barcelona just spend 70m on a declining 30 year old,Juve 80m on a still not fully proven 25 year old and Dortmund already announced Meunier
If there's supposed to be a drought of transfers going on this summer, we've yet to see it so far
